Are the Cowboys struggles at home so far psychological?

Yes, I know Jerry's an idiot. But the team seemed almost afraid of playing at home last week and this week. The mind is a strange place. Maybe they found something towards the end of the game.
All they found at the end of the game was an opportunity gifted by a team that tends to celebrate too early. The final score was not indicative of how the game was played.

This team is FroYo soft. Once something is in their heads, whether it’s another team punching them in the mouth or just worrying what the internet is going to be saying about them, they fall apart.

This team get's all excited when they go up against toads and crap down their legs when they face a team that means business. The Eagles took care of business today .........IN NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Say what??????? Prior to the GB butt kick'in the Cowboy's home record was one of the best in the NFL, so let's not give these panty wastes and excuse for their lousy play. Both NO and Balt have man handled this defense and the offense isn't any better.

I know. We had a perfect home record in 2023. Then the Packers game happened. That's why I'm wondering if something psychological happened.

I know. And I was incredibly demoralized in the third quarter. I'm hopeful that maybe they found something that they could use for the rest of the season. Is it so bad of me to have some faint hope for my team?

I like your statement, BUT it was an understatement! Prescott loves playing when he's down by double digits, beefs up his fake stats!

You are preaching to the choir. Go look up the second half thread today. I called it when the score was 28-6 entering the 4th quarter. I called it "Dak time"..... the man loves padding his stats against teams that have already moved onto next week........though it almost bit the ravens today.

The only thing they will find next week is a team almost as inept. Thank the lord its time to play the Giants.

Put it this way. Jimmy Johnson was a psychology major, was he not? How would he approach the team following this loss? Sure, he'd be mad about the first 3 quarters, but would he not use the psychology of the 4th quarter to try to get the team to realise what they achieved in the 4th quarter? And against what team?
But he also had the advantage of fielding an uber talented team. This team has nowhere near the type of talent they had during the Jimmy Johnson era. The closest talent wise was during Dak's early years. Even then, those teams had serious flaws...

Look, we just went up against a team that was a fumble away from being in the Super Bowl. We looked completely out of it early just like the Saints and Packers game. Only, this time, the team clamped down. I don't know if they figured anything out. I don't know if they changed anything. But it gave me hope. I know this team won't go to the SB. I know I won't see them in the NFCC this year. But, it gave me hope that maybe, just maybe, they found heart in them. Maybe they found something that they can use. I mean, I have to have something lol. What else am I going to do? Root for a tank?
No. You can understand what reality is and stop trying to look for something that ain’t there

Okay, like I said, I'm aware that we aren't going to the conference championship or beyond. I was just curious. Sorry for speaking my mind on a forum if something I was curious about.

I'm aware this isn't a good team. I literally said all offseason that I had a problem with the way we couldn't stop the run or run the ball. But, I also saw a team against Green Bay that looked down. I just want this team to perform better. I, unlike you, have never seen us get beyond the division round. So, I'd like to see us do something at some point, probably next year if Jerry figure out the problem, that I haven't seen.

JJ will hang his hat on those stats, He'll tell anyone listing that Prescott is the next best thing since slice bread!

This team is getting out hustled, out coached and out played. Unfortunately for Cowboy Nation we're stuck with a bad team and the season just started...........

I suppose you can't rule that out with guys that have been there for all or some of the playoff losses, but roster construction is the same too. We've been begging for upgrades to linebacker and interior D line for almost a decade it feels like. We've been watching this team get gashed by any decent running game for years

Oh fur sure, and Jerry's recent comments about Derrick Henry says it's not going to improve. I just mean, since most of the players were here for that game and the way they played the first 7 quarters at home this year, it begs the question.
