Are the Dallas Cowboys still America's Team?

Agree totally.
Americans are like spoiled brats - they go for whatever is shiny. Always want the new popular toy. Front runners, bandwagon jumpers on. "Americas Team" is whomever is winning now. Period.
As far as the Cowboys being that still, NO - thats long over now - its been a long time since the 1970s and Tom Landry's glory days teams.
Patriots definitely deserved that distinction for how long they were on top, especially in a much harder to win in SALARY CAP ERA.
I would agree it has now shifted to the Chiefs. But, maybe that because of where I live. Im in St Louis and many here have become Chiefs fans since we haven't had an NFL team, so I see Chiefs fans all the time now.
But let me get this straight after this long much talked about a much debated and for sure beating a dead horse subject about our drought. It's kind of odd how we're still top three in just about every category. strange? ironic?..

And I just checked the Cowboys ranked 7th in the entire league in win percentage since 2016 but they ranked third in the NFC only behind the Eagles and Packers in win percentage since 2016 to say they're not still relative and somehow they've lost the Americas Team label, they can't even lose it in the first place that moniker is ours, and it will always be ours...

lol no
Not enough nba following for them to be America’s team
Good point. NBA/NHL are a tier or 2 down from MLB/NFL. So how about the Dodgers then? They win a lot, have been in the playoffs every year for a very long time now. They are certainly now JAPANS TEAM, lol - maybe AMERICAS TEAM too

OH BOY, LOL - you've got a room full of Cowboys paraphernalia don't you? Have to watch every game in your silly MAN CAVE decorated with Cowboys gear all over the room? You buy everything Jerry puts out, huh? GO down to the stadium and pay ridiculous prices to a demented billionaire owner too don't you, lol? You just keep falling for it all. You are stuck in the past, times have moved on. Try to do the same sometime will ya, LOL. ITS OVER JOHNNY, ITS OVER- DEAL WITH IT

We are not still America's Team but a national institution IMO. Our worldwide popularity is right there with Coca-Cola, McDonald's, and Ford Motor Company IMO. In other words, our popularity represents the fabric of our country and that will never change.

More like RC, Hardee’s, and Studebaker.

And I wholeheartedly disagreed with you and there we stand but no stop trying to know who I am i'm posting facts that's a real raw data i'm not living in the past i'm living in the NFL and in the sports world i'm telling you how it is how about this how is the Mavericks the stars and the Rangers together only have three championships in their entire existence we didn't hear this nonsense with the Rangers about their long drought 1970 to 2023 was it literally won a championship everyone's happy but it doesn't make them the pride of the AL...

That doesn't make them the Yankees it doesn't matter how long it is between the Yankees winning and not winning they will always be the Yankees they will always be better than the Rangers as far as the world sees them the world knows who they are I mean you can even say that for the Astros they've been dominating the American League West for a while now they've got skins on their wall but they never will be the Yankees they'll probably never be the Dodgers either and by the way no the Dodgers don't get the moniker it's not for sale it's not even something you can earn take or win you definitely can't buy it...

That's the conversation we're having you're delusional this is not something you get to just move around they're America's team they will always be America's team do you not understand that's the debate we're having but there is no debate no one ever will recognize any other team as America's team except from the Dallas Cowboys and I'm sorry you don't understand it I just tried to put you on track with the fact that the Dallas Cowboys even after this drought are still relative they're still in the mix in the top five in just about every category you can think of...

They are not the Jets or the Browns or any team in the bottom 16 the Cowboys are still relative if you don't like it I don't care maybe you forget where you're at maybe you're the problem not me because that moniker will never be taken it's not up for debate it's not up for sale it's you can't earn it because it's not available...

DO NOT "ohh boy me" I'm a real **** Dallas Cowboy fan ,you're damn right since I was 10 years old and now I'm 55 they will win again they will win another title to say they won't it's like saying the Chiefs 56 year drought they were never going to win another one do you want to do the math on how much longer that was for them to get back do you want to understand that the Eagles from 1960 to 2017 never won a title do we need to understand our teams in the NFL with no title some of them never even been to a Super Bowl let alone won one..

So yeah you're right of one thing that is how I used to be as a fan I don't have a room like that i'm 55 i'm a grown man but that is how I am inside i'm a real fan i'm sorry that you're not i'm sorry you're weak and that you're like the dude with the tattoo that's now jumping to the Chiefs a lot of people in here I have on ignore are really Philadelphia fans they're Packers fans they're in here being trolls and maybe at one time they saw themselves as Cowboys fans that's not who I am but I see you and I won't be seeing you for much longer but now that you know how I feel just stay in your lane the moniker is not up for sale it's not up to win it's not up to move around it will always be America's team is synonymous with the Dallas Cowboys that's it.

Why don't you get creative and make up your own name for the other teams you believe earned it they can come up with their own names I mean there used to be names for defenses like doomsday defense there used to be the greatest show on turf for the offense Dallas didn't want those they're not moved to recent teams you come up with a name for the Dodgers or the Yankees or the Packers or if you think New England earned us why don't you ask Tom Brady what name they should name that era because America's team's taken....

So come up with new names for teams that's your new job but I can promise you this america's team will never be another team I don't care how much you say it how much you spray it and how much you try to propaganda it all over the Internet it's not going to happen..

Just like the fire Jerry stuff it doesn't work you can say it till you're blue in the face you could try to be that person all of the Internet that just lifts their leg on the Cowboys and says Jerry needs to go but Jerry's not going anywhere no matter what effort you put into it and the America's team label will always be the Dallas Cowboys that's it it's a known fact anybody in your trying to cancel that culture is not happening...

But I like it you don't like facts because all those things are facts..

No you are over,

that's hilarious you tell me it's our it's not over the Eagles took a very long time almost 60 years to win a title the Chiefs took 56 years between their titles..

I believe in my heart someday Buffalo will win one they don't have one Cincinnati might win 1 SOMEDAY, the Browns might actually win an NFL game as far as the Super Bowl goes I think they got some AFL stuff over there.. This is how hilarious fans are when they say 30 years blah blah blah the Cleveland Browns haven't even won a division title since 1989 and you're making a big deal about this yeah I wish they would II am also very in need of ANFC championship game appearance and a new Super Bowl appearance for my Dallas Cowboys but I'm not going to make that big a deal out of it because I know I pay attention to all sports that this stuff comes in cycles....

there are teams that have never won a Super Bowl that will win 1 and that means the Dallas Cowboys will also someday win another title ,yes they will,
I don't care what you say you're not Nostradamus I mean it took the Texas Rangers almost 60 years to get their first title but it finally happened people were thinking it wouldn't happen what was that team that had a 100 year drought they called it a curse and guess what yup they won a title.

Chicago cubs 1945-2016

Isn't that great when we're like armed with actual facts instead of hyperbole.

.The Chicago Cubs' championship drought lasted for 108 years, from their last World Series win in 1908 to their victory in 2016. This was the longest championship drought in the history of major sports in the United States and Canada.

I don't believe Jerry Jones will match that 108 years I don't think Jerry Jones will match that 56 years I don't think Jerry Jones will match that drought that other teams have had in the NFL acting like the 30 years is the worst ever and I'm trying to explain to you it's not everything comes in cycles and the Cowboys will come bar up around someday and maybe Jerry won't be around but Stephen will one of the Jones family is going to witness and be a part of another Super Bowl you can book that...

30 years into that 108 Cubs fans were probably thinking the same thing.

30 years into that 108 Cubs fans were probably thinking the same thing.
That's not my point and I don't think the Cowboys will take 108 years and by that time I don't think the Jones family will own the Cowboys we're talking about 78 more years..

I'm just pointing out how silly it sounds they're I'm just talking about the NFL 56 years the Chiefs the drought between their Super Bowls they're teamed out there with no Super Bowl wins at all the Cowboys are sitting on neutral waiting on #6 jerry's waiting on number four that's a little easier to deal with than some of these other drops I mean wouldn't you agree I doubt it nobody wants to agree the 30 years while significant to fans because it feels like dog years it's not significant when you look at got teams like the Philadelphia Eagles 1960 to 2017 i've called that a longer drought..

And again that was waiting on number one the Cowboys are waiting on number six.

I get it it feels like it's been forever I get the younger generation has never got to feel it but I did I was in my 20s for all three of the ones in the 90s I experienced it all in real time maybe that's why I'm a little more forgiving but I'm just saying that it's silly to keep harping on 30 years when there's been more droughts that are much more significant....

Ive never come across anybody in my life who is so hung up on OLD NICKNAMES like you. They're just nicknames, LOL. Was your Grand-pappy Pat Summerall or something? LOL
They sell products, they advertise, they sell tickets, they are fun for the fans, etc.
I am your age really, born in 71. I too became a Cowboys fan around 8- 9 even though I lived in a city with an NFL team. Ive never rooted for or cared about any football team besides the Cowboys in my life.
I don't need nicknames from the 70s in order to keep rooting for the Cowboys, never did. Who cares what others think or who they like. Ive always been the only Cowboys fan in any group in my whole life, having never lived in Texas. I really don't care who the rest of America likes, I like the Cowboys - nobody else has to. Muchness the rest of America, LOL.
Im sure you remember from the 70s then the Steelers D being called the STEEL CURTAIN, the Cowboys D -DOOMSDAY, Broncos the ORANGE CRUSH, etc - but we still don't call them by THOSE 70S NICKNAMES, do we? Times change, things change - nicknames fade away just like memories do. They are only relevant in THEIR TIME.
Calm down on the damn nickname from the 70s already, LOL. Do you need that to still be a thing or to be true to be a Cowboys fan? I don't and never did. Root for the Cowboys because you love them as I do, who cares what the rest of America thinks. Their opinions on things nowadays aren't worth a penny anyway, LOL.

I am so tired of this stupid question. As a fan of this team, I don't even think about that moniker. The media loves to stir up the lemmings.
