No, his stat clearly refutes one of your points in that McFadden racked up meaningless yards in blow out games.

Just because you score a meaningless 7-10 points late to get to 35-27 doesn't mean you weren't blown out. Games do that all the time.

LOL. I am almost positive you would be the guy who would try to argue that the sky isn't blue even when everyone else admits it is.

Our OL is so good, that McFadden (who is far from a great back) had more of his yards while the score was close than any of the Top 10 rushers.

Rushing yards in one-score games
as a percentage of total rushing yards

McFadden 80.6%
Freeman 80.1%
Gore 79.6%
Stewart 76.3%
Martin 74.2%
LMurray 70.5%
Gurley 69.4%
Peterson 69.3%
Williams 61.4%
Ivory 48.3%

Yes

I was going to say that although I agree with the OP that McFadden could be greatly upgraded, he really didn't pad his stats last year overall.

That would mean I was the only person who understood what 4-12 means.

The final score has nothing to do with it. That's how many of those players' yards came when the margin at the time of the run was 8 points or less.

The point is to show how much of the RB's production happened when the score was close.

LOL.

Everyone understood that. But I am sure he's got some creative spin on it.

Running the ball when everyone knows it is a tough row to hoe. That's a tribute to the OL as well as to McFadden who ran tough. He's not the back Murray was and certainly not within three tiers of a player like Emmitt. But he is a good back when healthy.

Good enough with this line.

That's probably the best you can say although I give him the benefit of the doubt after running behind that line in Oakland (which is better now). He's not special nor as good as Murray in getting you that extra yard or three at times. He's good enough. EE should be special but I'll wait until I see him play against the real competition first.
