Are they really going to stick with the run?

With Jason Garrett now being a proper HC on the sideline and Linehan calling the plays, do you feel like it's real this time?

I truly hope so. We have the talent to run the football 40+ times a game.

Only with a lead I'm afraid.

A game gets out of hand early,we'll be seeing a case of the runsies.

You mean a case of the passies. That's what I fear. We ran all over the Titans, but we also held the lead the entire game.

Until it gets stopped it would be foolish not to keep doing it. And as Romo gets healthier it will make it easier to run with this Oline.

I think they will do what's in the best interest of the team. I think this notion that every casual fan knows they should run the ball but the staff refuses to do it is stupid.

Murray had a nice average per carry last year but they simply did not have the ability to run the ball when the defense knew it was coming. That's why they couldn't run the ball successfully in 3rd and short situations.

This year they are showing the ability to show the defense they are going to run it down their throats and still do it successfully.

As long as they are able to do that they will.

I agree and add the Oline getting more and more in sync making it that much better for either ave. Getting strong in the Oline trenches has obviously been a focus and has the makings to be a mainstay. On the other side of the ball, I'm optimistic for continued improvement too!

They will continue to run, especially when Romo isn't near 100%. I just hope they balance the load so we can have a fresh Murray for NO.

Btw, I'm not looking past STL.

Continue with what is working. I just hope they don't run Murray into the ground or an injury before December. We have other RB's, use them if our line is that good at blocking.

When teams focus on stopping the run, then go with the quick passes, by that time Romo should have the wrinkles worked out.....I hope.

Boy, the "run trolls" are getting really, really old... when we had some guy named Emmitt Smith, in our three super bowl seasons we averaged a touch over 30 carries a game as a team. Now we're going to run FORTY times with these guys? Combine that with people who scream if we even think about passing it on anything other than 3rd and long and act like we're the 85 Bears now after two games. Bring back the Romo haters, please... they were much more tolerable.

Im fine with them passing a lot. Establish that you can run then play the way they have the past few years. The run needs to keep the defenses honest, but other than that, I don't really care.

Its amazing how the run games makes everyone look better. The defense performed better, Romo didn't look all that bad and as you stated Garrett looked like a real HC for a change....However

It is not in ROMO's, nor Garretts or Linehans DNA to run the ball...they lean toward the Air Coryell style not Bill Parcels or Jimmy Johnson version of football. Enjoy the running game while it is here....it won't last long

Against teams like the Rams and Titans, yes they will.

The real test will come when Brees comes to town. Will we continue to run or get caught up in trying to play a shootout, which is what the Saints want you to do. Because you can run on the Saints defense if you stick with it.
