Are we a better team with Dak or Rush?

Surely all of this rubbish we heard earlier in the season has subsided?

Our offense has been in top 5 since Prescott’s return. We were close to bottom 5 while with Rush.

The winning percentage is similar but I can’t imagine anyone still thinking this team has more potential heading into the playoffs with Rush over Prescott.

people here would argue Vincent Kennedy McMahon would be an upgrade over Dak

we are better with Dak at QB and thats the end of it.....

and i like Rush he was DARN GOOD as our qb but he relied on the running game and defense and played mistake free football and managed the game

its Dak and its not even close. He has made a few bad decisitons and throws that have led to turnovers but this is a very different attack with dak at the helm vs rush. I really like rush, but he doesnt have the tool set that dak does....if dak plays like he did the last 3 mins of the Houston game then its not even close...the challenge is getting him to be that consistent.

Does that mean this forum doesn’t really represent Cowboys Nation? If so then it’s more of just an entertainment site typical of social media than serious football discussions . I’d like to think it’s more than that but you might be right.

its the depths people are willing to go to to say dak is a bad qb

he has his faults.....him squeezing through lineman to avoid a sack is one of them because it leads to it

him throwing the ball into excellent coverage is another problem he does it atleast twice a game which is why his ints are up

but when he's on he's on and more often than not hes on and dicing his way through defenses or making the smart throw but they'll ignore that

Yep, no doubt.

When Dak is on his game he’s a top 10 caliber QB. And his stats support as such. All that’s left is more success in the playoffs.

But the bigger point has to be this offense is more explosive and productive with him . Which should provide us a better shot against the better teams. .

The personnel is excellent which elevates both QB's. Dak is a C+/B- QB who gets elevated to a B/B+ QB. Rush is a C-/C+ QB who gets elevated to a B-/B QB. It would be really exciting to have a A-/A/A+ on this team but they can only work with what they have.

Or Vincent Van Gogh. Or Ethel Kennedy. Or Ed McMahon.

Personnel isn't "excellent". Hurts personnel is excellent. 49ers s excellent.

And the OP says his mission is to seek out and destroy trolls?

I seldom use the word troll but attempting to start a strawman argument over a 7 year guy that costs us 40 million a year and another UDFA with 6 starts making 900K a year, reeks of either trolling or someone who’s common sense went bye bye some time ago

staaaap. Dak has been blessed since his rookie year with great talent around him. unfortunately he isnt talented enough to utilize them 100% hence why his official nickname is WR Killah

Now you know damn well here are people here still clinging to the "we're better with Rush" mantra. But what those people are really saying is that they would rather see anybody playing QB for the Cowboys than Dak Prescott. So it's not really worth the time talking to them. Other than to laugh at them for their ridiculous takes.

this is a stupid question to ask....anyone saying we are better with Rush is not a cowboys fan....yes I said that.
