Are we a better team with Dak or Rush?

It’s pretty obvious the Cowboys are a better team with Dak. Our scoring has gone way up. However, the defense wasn’t giving up as many points when Rush was in the lineup. In 5 games with Cooper Rush the defense only gave up 20 points once and that was the 26 points to Philly. The 4 wins we had with Rush our defense never gave up more than 17 points. Our defense is giving up more TDs now. However, Rush wasn’t turning the football over and Dak has which is one reason we’ve given up more points. We gave up 26 when Rush had a couple of INTs. In the two games Dak didn’t suffer an INT since he returned to the lineup we gave up only a total of 9 points.

Oh that's a silly argument. Noah Brown looked better because he was a #2 lol. Notice how all of a sudden Schultz doesn't look nearly as bad? Or how tight ends are getting involved now? Or how Lamb all of a sudden looks like a #1? Or how Gallup is getting going?

But Noah Brown is who you cling on to. Just say you dislike Dak and move on I typically don't spend this much time on y'all is a joke lol. Noah Brown.....

IMO, many of our fans don’t understand what this team is. It is NOT a team built completely around the QB position. This team is not like the chiefs, bucs or packers that are 100% built around and completely dependent on their star QBs.

Dak is not a super star QB. His $40 million dollar salary is what trips many fans up. They don’t seem to realize or accept that is the going rate for a starting QB. Not a star QB. A starter capable of consistently winning games market rate. The QB market dictates that above avg QBs are all monstrously overpaid.

I believe Dak is without a doubt a top 10-12 QB in this league capable of winning a SB. BUT- Dak is not a super star QB who will carry a team on his back to a SB. Dak is a Joe Flacco, a Matthew Stafford, a Phil Simms, a Mark Rypien, a Jim Plunkett type QB. All have rings. None are headed to Canton. It also doesn’t mean the team could have won a SB without them.

In fact, the only super star in Big D is Micah Parsons. If this team’s fortunes rest on one guy, it’s probably #11.

The defense runs this team not the QB. We just need a QB that won't make mistakes. We need the Dak of a few years ago.

The personnel is excellent which elevates both QB's. Dak is a C+/B- QB who gets elevated to a B/B+ QB. Rush is a C-/C+ QB who gets elevated to a B-/B QB. It would be really exciting to have a A-/A/A+ on this team but they can only work with what they have.

Not intended to defend Dak, who played very poorly on Sunday, but I think the offensive personnel is about as bad as it’s been in over a decade.

Yeah, but he's talking about the debate that was happening early on in the media and amongst fans. The fact Rush was able to win games was no fluke. But Prescott has the NFL athleticism and measurables..

I will say, despite his lack of athleticism, Cooper Rush has some starting qualities to him too.

But it's still Dak, and by a good margin.

I'm actually very thankful Cooper the Red Rocket Rush is a Dallas Cowboy.

The defense appreciated Rush. He didn't have the defense on the field as much. Ball control and slow long moving drives. Mouthbreather has the defense on the field more and they have to work hard to carry him.

Our offense has been in top 5 since Prescott’s return. We were close to bottom 5 while with Rush.

The winning percentage is similar but I can’t imagine anyone still thinking this team has more potential heading into the playoffs with Rush over Prescott.

I for one would like to see Rush back in the saddle because Prescot has lost it! His slow starts and the poor decision making are hurting this club BADLY! You can't expect the defense to keep baling this idiot out!!!! Prescot is sucking all the excitement out of our defense, it's getting to a point that maybe they should give Parsons a shot at the QB position. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
