Yes ....... we are magically cursed instead of just losing to a good team.

Cursed? No. But I will continue to say that the WORST thing to happen to this team in the last 20 years was winning Super Bowl XXX.

Dallas won that game without Jimmy Johnson, but with Jimmy's players playing with Jimmy's mentality. I'm not one of these people that thinks Jimmy Johnson is a god. He was a good coach in a very different era of NFL football.

But winning Super Bowl XXX gave Jerry the idea that he could do it without Jimmy Johnson. And Jerry's been trying to recreate that same team ever since. He thinks he has the formula. Hey it worked once right? ...once, nearly two decades ago.

Are there other problems? Sure, but everything starts at the top.

Yeah....we're "cursed" with the Jones family.

Cursed would imply bad luck. That everything's in place for success and we still fail because of some mythical force against us.

That doesn't apply to the Cowboys. They are no longer what they once were because the top two individuals in our football operations are frauds with no background or skill set for their jobs.

We all deserve better. Every fan on every board. You invest greatly in this team. You are our best and most loyal fans and the owner fails you on a yearly basis simply because he can't stand not being the focal point and face of the team. He can't tolerate somebody else getting the credit.

When the structure in place isn't conducive to success and you've got nearly two decades of evidence of it with no hope for change you're not cursed. You are mismanaged.

Yep and its only gonna get worse from here, the next 5-10 years look to be brutal barring a miracle. They've hooked their wagon to an aging Romo and I don't think they'll ever figure out how to build a good enough team around him before his skills erode and then the search for his replacement begins and hell really kicks in.

We're not cursed, we just can't find that "magical" GM that doesn't have to worry about the salary cap or injuries. He is the guy that makes all the best players and coaches come to Dallas for half the cost because we deserve to keep winning Super Bowls more than any other city. This "magical" GM will have the power to fire coaches when they don't work, make trades to find that missing piece and will never miss on draft picks, FAs or resigning our own players. He will also insist that nobody gets hurt, ever. He will tell the owner and his children to back off their multi-billion team and leave every big decision to him because their previous successes had nothing to do with them and everything to do with that Viagra salesman that went on to multiple Super Bowls after quitting on Dallas(that last part didn't happen).
