Are We Becoming The Patriots??

The Cowboys have always been a class organization and one of who NFL fans either love or hate. Over the past 10 years we've spent high dollars in FA on players that did not live up to their expectations. It seems that at one point Jerry was using the Daniel Snyder philosophy of ridiculous FA spendings (and we all know how that turned out). Nevertheless this brings about my thought of the Patriots and how they are doing things. They get people to buy into the "Team Work" method, without the "Me First Ego Method." I don't know about you guys, but I am enjoying the ride thus far, and I'm hoping that we continue to develop players within, use our draft wisely, and add a little patchwork every now and then (like Brooking).

I hear ya. Jerry has settled down a bit with his wheeling and dealing (no more Joey Galloway deals), and has done a very nice job developing players and actually hand-picking players that are contributing. Not sure if we are becoming the Patriots due to the fact that we don't have too many videographers hiding out in the endzone areas, filming walk-throughs.

But I do like what I'm seeing.
