I think most are just excited to have a quality football team once again. No doubt this team still has a lot of test ahead of them

from here on out EVERY game will be a "trap" game and every game has the potential to trip us up.

Are we looking ahead? I think some fans are, but I think the team is very much focused on this Commanders game because of the importance of a win.

A win gives up a 4 game lead over the Commanders. If by chance Detriot wins, that'd give us 4 on the Giants, so winning this one is key and keeping focus is key.

The way the fans react toward their football team in no way effects how they perform, except on game day in a loud stadium. Just because some fans think they have accomplished something does not mean the Cowboys themselves do.

I could not have said this any better.......

The coaches are not letting the players "eat the cheese", and if you listen to the players they all say the same thing. "We just try to take it one game at a time and prepare for the next".....the players are well aware of staying focused and not having a let down....just as in New England, where they are eating the humble pie....

Everyone on the teams seems to have a good perspective on our current record and the task at hand. I am not worried about them at this point. They are confident but Wade is constantly reminding them that 8 wins, while nice, is not the goal and really doess not mean anything yet.

8-1 record
Multiple big road wins Chicago, Philly, NY
Offense averaging 32 points a game lead by a QB performing at an MVP level
Defense that appears to be improving weekly

Why shouldn't we be excited and believe this teams going to the SB?
Because there's a "chance" it might not. There's some risk we may get let down. Get our feelings hurt and go BO-HO.

Should I not make plans for the weekend, because there's a chance I dont survive the commute home?
