Are we just assuming the culture is good now?

Look around the forum...they still have enough people fooled to just continue doing what they have been. Wait until @Rockport comes back this spring to tell everyone how to be a real fan. There's unfortunately enough Rockports in the world to keep the money train rolling along for Jerry and Cap'n Dipstick
Rockport has not commented.

We recently had 3, 12 wins seasons in a row. An unbiased opinion would probably be happy with being that close and OK with this approach. The many injuries this year would also give the same unbiased opinion cause for hope in a bounce back season. The Dak signing and failure to deliver on the All In promise is a humiliating to this fan base as is was on McLovin.....
So, while I am optimistic with this staff and good with bringing back a few players, I don't want Jerry to McLovin us, anymore! Drop a pair and deliver on your all in promise, Jerry!

A commitment to Parsons and Osa is a strong commitment to strong player retention. He definitely isn't playing around. I'm ashamed of the US on Ukraine.

With Jerry at the head ........ anyone who thinks the culture is good is a moron.

love your post bob...excellent as always.
i hate the word or term culture because everybody uses it but with different meanings.
we will not win championships until the f/o dynamics change.
but i don't think the culture of the team is bad.
i've not heard or seen any infighting...or back-biting...or dis-unity on the team.
there was a period there in the late 90's...early 2000's when i thought it wasn't good.
but from parcells to now...i think its much better.
players seem to like their coaches and seem to me to play hard.
but the failures to win in the post season and the championship drought in my opinion fall squarely on this front office that hasn't produced because it doesn't know how to build a championship roster.
this team...to me...seems to play hard...and stay united...but fails in the big moments.
i don't think that means the culture is bad...it means maybe "our guys" aren't enough and could use some re-enforcements from outside the bldg.
good culture...in terms of the locker-room.
bad gm.

If our favorite team was coming off a nice run of playoff wins over the last decade, I would be glad to see our front office and coaching staff craft our roster around keeping some key players that have been most influential in a bunch of playoff wins.

Problem is we have 2 wild card wins the last decade and a culture that has been questioned by those both inside and outside of this organization as being soft and not focused fully on winning football games.

Serious question- So why would this organization- almost yearly - decide the most important free agents to sign are “our guys”? Our guys who haven’t really an complished that much. Are we trying to keep the same culture and performance from “our guys” why would expect the results it to get any better?

Put another way, are we assuming “our culture is fine”? Is our FO really just convinced that this three decade playoff drought is just bad luck?

Because if there’s no learning or understanding about what’s wrong with this organization, how are we supposed to “believe” we have righted the ship in the right direction?

I’m hoping we have a great draft and sign some impactful FAs. But what about this team’s culture? Doesn’t it need addressing too?
But i heard we will be selectivly aggressive.

Isnt that not enough for a change?

Come on! Dont be such a negativity. Always

your team is a season removed from three straight 12-5 season's. I believe JJ has built up enough equity that has shown he can build a division winning, high regular season winning football team . At some point blame must be put on the players on the field. JJ didn't commit crippling penalties vs SF in 2021-- the players did. JJ didn't fumble the game at GB a way in 2014 -- Murray and Romo did(dropped snap). JJ didn't throw the game a way vs SF in 2022 -- Dak Prescott did

Bruh...I don't know if you noticed but the board - and fandom - is upset about POST SEASON SUCCESS...especially SUPER BOWL. Over the course of 30+ years a team will have good and bad stretches...but we have a "DROUGHT" as regards post season success that we used to enjoy almost perennially.

Try to keep up...who cares if twas Dak in 2022 or Romo in 2014...point is that it is PREDICTABLE. Why? Team culture.

"Game Over".
