SF and Dallas seasons similarly imploded last year if you’re looking at their records alone. And I suppose injuries had some references which could be implied.

But Im still not clear of the intent for reference to SF. Is it to lessen the blow of our season.

i am not expecting this team to do much of anything in FA but at least sign/restructure your own guys before you head to the Bahamas for a week.

I get where you're coming from but we might be jumping the gun on this one a little bit. The second they signed Eberflus I think it was a given that they were bringing back OSA. Them signing him to a deal instead of negotiating via the tag is a very positive sign that could free up some additional cap space for them to actually play around with free agency. I'm still not sold on the idea that they will do that, but the door seems to be cracked open.

Also I wouldnt rule out a major move like dumping a Parsons either. I dont want to put too much stock in the Titans rumor, but it didnt come from nowhere. Its also possible that moving Parsons could still be an option. That would be a major culture changer, and instantly bring in some fresh blood via the draft. He is the guy that I really struggle to see benefiting from an Eberflus defense, and its the reason i was left scratching my head when he was hired.

I'm all for the Jerry/Stephen bashing until they actually give us reason for optimism, but there is something different in the air right now....like they are feeling the pressure to do something big. Lets see if they really intend to do something big or just shine up a turd for us.

Parsons isn't going anywhere. If anything, he could have a slight role change.
