Are we losing both coordinators?

Ryan appears to be the favorite for the Houston Texans job. There is also a ton ofminority coaching candidates that you can’t say they are token interviews. Especially defensive coaches. The Rooney rule has taken time but there are a number of good minority candidates now.
I live in Houston. I think the Texans are a dumpster fire, and their fans hate the Cowboys more than they like the Texans.

With that said, DeMeco Ryans is well thought of in Houston, and he has visible people going to bat for him. He played here back in the day. I think he'll get the job.

Sean Payton also interviewed with the Texans. That surprised me. He'll be able to get a better job than the Texans, though.

Quinn is most likely gone because he knows there’s no opportunity with the Cowboys next season as their next HC. Coming into the season it was pretty much make or break for McCarthy to at least win a playoff game. He’ll definitely be back as HC next season.
Good point...............I think Quinn stayed because there was a chance Fat Mike would get canned if he was one and done again and Quinn would be next in line.

With that possibility gone now, I think Quinn would take a HC job if one was offered.

He knew McCarthy was on the hot seat heading into this season. That’s no longer the case after last weeks game.

I think Quinn stayed because he valued what he had with the Cowboys and how much he got paid more than he did whatever opportunities he was evaluating.

It seems like last year, even though there was interest in DQ and KM, they expressed that they weren’t interested in leaving. Especially DQ, who sounded like he had unfinished business here that he needed to take care of. I’m not hearing similar things from either one this year. What do you think, are they both gone if they get offers this year? I think DQ could succeed as a head coach, but I’m not sure about KM.
It’s the nature of the NFL. Just have to deal with it and hope for the best.

I can't see Kellen Moore being a huge loss, Dan Quinn on the other hand, sigh.

I hope we're able to keep both.

Kellen Moore is a great OC, whether our fans realize that or not. It's pretty much fact.

As far as DQ, I think Jerry could convince him to stay, especially if we end up going to the NFC Championship game. Quinn seems happy here, with these players, and coaching with Big Mike.

- You're pissed that Quinn is getting an HC interview, elsewhere ...... yet you're blaming the same guy for losing a SB to dynasty powered Pats ..?

- How many other HC's in NFL even had a sniff of even making it to a Super Bowl appearance ?

- Whether HC or DC, Quinn had already had a hand in at least 3 Super bowls ... just not many other current HCs and former HCs can make claim to that
Claim to blowing a lead like these. But I will say there is 3 phases of the game. I believe falcons could have just kept running the ball and continued to dismantle a team. Could you imagine if this happens to us. We run at will and build a monster lead. Then Moore abandons the run and leaves our Defense out to dry. Not sure if falcons did that or not.

I hope KM gets the chance from another team to prove to EVERYONE he is a 'genius guru' just like Jerry said .

DQ should stay .
