Are we only afraid of San Francisco and Philadelphia?

I still think Bucs can be an issue if they get healthy and get things figured out, the season is long. They are 2-0 vs us with Brady.

You can never count them out due to Brady and he’s undefeated against the Cowboys. However, his marriage breakup playing out in public has to be wrecking havoc on him.

No, good chap. The Bucs are done. Bucs are done like a well-baked pie of mince and yams.

The Cowboys have the talent to beat anyone. It's more likely they get outcoached especially on offense.

On the offensive side I don't agree, I can say this is the best defense I have seen in my adulthood.

49ers on the top of my list.

best thing the eagles did was get aj brown. The Eagles overall, k they fade into back half of season. Where 49ers may get stronger.

Look, ruffian, yes, the 49ers are dangerous. Their running game is awesome. They have Deebo, McCaffein, Mitchell and the under the radar Jeff Wilson, someone I wish we'd grab, good bland men.
Yet, The Eagles seem deep at all positions and more dimensional.

If I had to guess our likely playoff path to the Super Bowl (should we progress) would be:

Wildcard:
Philly (bye)
  • Vikings vs Seattle
  • Buccs vs Giants
  • 49ers vs Cowboys
Division Playoffs
  • Cowboys vs Philly
  • Vikings vs Buccs
NFC Championship
  • Vikings vs Cowboys
Super Bowl
  • Cowboys vs Bills

Im afraid of K. Shanahan vs KM. Shanny is smart, creative, and will keep drowning you with the run game until you can stop it.

KM isn't that smart, his creativity is limited, and he's not smart enough to keep crushing our opponent's will with the run game like you see other teams doing when they have their opponents on the ropes.

When's the last time we crushed our opponent's spirit with 6, 7, 8 straight run plays??

I have total confidence in our awesome offense esp after they took apart the 30th-ranked defense on Sunday!
Kidding aside no way we beat any of these teams in the playoffs as our offense will not be able to score the points required.
Just like in last year's wildcard loss at home vs the Niners.

Pappydog gon' pappy win, lose, or draw.

And not to get too far ahead of ourselves, but the Bucs are looking like they will play the best wildcard team in Tampa. We could very well be headed for an opening round playoff game against TB12.

True….but if healthy he can put up that trifecta like yesterday. 1 TD pass thrown….1TD pass caught…and one rushing TD. The Niners FO put that team in a strong position…..and that displeases me
Still a long season, lets see how his soft tissues in his legs hold up...

I could be wrong but I thought with the back up QB it was Philly 20-17 fourth quarter . Fear the Eagles

I refuse to write off the Rams and Bucs yet, despite how they look at the moment. Both have SB-winning QBs, but they don't have the lines or weapons they had last year.

But in a playoff game, if they get some protection, both can be dangerous. They obviously have to get there first.

I think I'll write off the rams. They've still got talent, but the depth is now depleted due to years of not having enough draft picks.

And we will finally get our win against Brady.

From the NFC?

That's what I keep hearing. That those are the only 2 real threats to us in the NFC.

Philly has assembled quite a team. Rush had trouble against the dynamic corner duo of Slay and Bradberry. No idea if Dak will have the same troubles, but if we have Tyron back and our offense line becomes beast mode.... Dak will have time to dissect the Eagles defense. Maybe it'll be a different game than Game 1.

49ers have all the star players. They're 3-0 in their division most importantly, and their defense at times can suffocate you. Aiyuk, Samuel, Kittle, and McCaffrey.... holy cow. No team in America has that many defenders to match that many offensive top players. Most people think they're better than Seattle.

I think Giants are improved, but not a powerhouse. The Vikings are 6-1, but their division is a joke. Seattle has everyone behind Geno Smith - they love him right now. But I think his steam comes to a full stop at some point. Not that he's gonna sink completely, but I don't see him leading them past a powerhouse defense which is what you can expect in the NFC Championship game.
Neither, we figure the run out NEITHER

It's likely that you will have to outscore both these teams. They can really wear out a defense with the running game. If you fall behind and become one dimensional then it's probably over. You have to match them score for score basically. Their respective run/play-action game is going to be brutal. Realistically, you have to try and contain them. They will get yards and points but you have to try to bend and not break while your own offense puts up some points. Dallas also needs to run the ball well. The game winds down faster, with fewer possessions if you can maintain drives. I like a shoot-out only in Dallas...and even at home not by much. Both teams are the real deal. Very versatile, very physical, very dangerous. I probably fear Philly the most with the emergence of AJ Brown. They may actually be a better, more gelled team by Christmas eve, although one might worry about how they would respond to trailing for long periods of time in a game. Scary thing is that they get TWO first round draft picks next year, and one may be in the top 5 depending on how the Saints finish. The Giants have improved but the dearth of receiver and o-line talent still makes them the third best team in the division.

Not too concerned with the NFC North right now, which is not great this year. The Packers will figure things out but the o-line and receiver talent isn't as great as in past years...and even then, Rodgers couldn't get it done when it finally mattered. The Vikings...very solid but also not "great", are intriguing but Kirk Cousins is who he is. NFC South? The Bucs, but they are in a deep freeze right now. They have to hope that injuries don't pile up down the stretch or they could lose the division (incredibly) to Carolina or New Orleans. That's how bad things are down there at present.
