Are we rooting for D-Ware?

I guess every single one of the 100+ sacks he amassed with Dallas were a mirage and never affected a single game. I guess he will just have to ride those inconsequential sacks to the playoffs, which he has been in every season since leaving Dallas, and of course into the HOF.

But I'm sure you'd begrudge him those honors too because your aexpectation is for Ware never to get injured, sack QB on every pass rush and win each and every game single handedly. What planet are you from again?

How many playoff games did he win here again?

How many playoff games did Dick Butkus win in Chicago? He never even played in a playoff game. Ware was a diamond amongst trash on our defense. Checkout his sacks totals and compare them to the next closest defender on the team it was a major drop-off.

I don't know anything about Dick Butkus, but Ware's teams had a lot of talent on them and they always quit in December. He was a stat machine. That's it.

Because I asked you how many playoff games he won here? That doesn't make sense.

I thought the question was specious. Do you really believe that one player determines a win or loss? That is only true in sports like golf or tennis. Not for sports that play 11 players on a side.

Couldn't give a crap about Ware. He was part of the finger pointing during the 2010 debacle and laying down until his HC was fired. Great player, but he was supposed be a leader and the way he and Ratliff acted, especially in that Green Bay game, was shameful. I don't think the same way about a lot of the players we used to have that were around during 2010.

The player I'm hoping gets a ring is Alex Smith.
I'm pretty certain Ware doesn't give a crap, he's actually playing in a meaningful game unlike us.

Ware's defenses didn't have a lot of talent he accounted for most of the teams sacks and pressures. He was the only player we had on defense who put fear in opposing offenses. What you're saying about him being a stat machine and that's it could also be said about Romo and has been said about him. Players haven't stepped up around Romo and they never stepped up around Ware which is why the team hasn't gotten past the second round of the playoffs in 20 years.

I never saw much leadership from him at all. I just expected more from that side of him.

He wasn't a vocal player that wasn't his personality he led by making plays. He was off to one of the best starts of his career his final season in Dallas with 4 sacks and an INT the first 3 games until he got injured. A defender can only be in one place at one time and although he had to deal with a lot of double teams he still made plays. He has players stepping up around him in Denver which is why the Broncos have the #1 defense in the league and are competing for a Super Bowl this season.

You certainly make a great case for him. Are you an attorney by chance?

Ware's production makes my case he had a Hall of Fame career.

Thought you were going to take a long run?

The Seahawks made the first game worth hanging around for. Spurs/Mavs pregame starts in about an hour so I have no time for a jog now. But thanks for your concern.
