Are we rooting for D-Ware?

Someone forgot to take their midol? Your previous quote had disdain for him. I was simply pointing out that on top of being a great player for us, he also is a good role model. Hard to root against a guy like that.

I love all those playoff games we won with him, coach steele.

As long as DWare flies another teams flag, I have no problem at all not rooting for him. I hope Denver beats the stealers but that's where it ends. Once he retires I may have to reassess how I feel about the man but today he is a Bronco... that's not my team.

I listened to an interview with Jerry right after he released Ware he said the first thing to go is a players legs you could clearly tell he thought Ware was done or just about done and he was wrong. Releasing Ware resulted in the Cowboys having the fewest sacks in the league in 2014 or close to it having only 28 sacks. Ware's 10 sacks in 2014 was 4 more than any defensive player we had. He also had 2 FF's in 2014. It was the lack of a pass rush that knocked the Cowboys out of the playoffs in 2014.

Not having a pass rush resulted in Jerry signing Hardy a player with character issues who brought tension to the locker room. Despite starting 2 more games than Ware did in 2015 he had 1.5 sacks less than Ware who 7.5 sacks in 2015 and a FF that saved a game for Denver. If Jerry is going to ask injured players to take pay cuts and release them if they don't then he should ask Lee and Romo to take pay cuts because both players missed more games the past few seasons due to injury than Ware.

You still living in the past? Ware is on the decline and will never live up to the 30 million dollar contract Denver foolishly gave him.

Am I rooting that a former player, one our front office decided we were better off without, goes on to win a title with another team?

Is this a serious question?

You still hating on the guy? He's produced 17.5 sacks since he left the Cowboys and 3 FF's he's still a very good player when healthy. Denver has no regrets about paying Ware they have the #1 defense in the league and are in the playoffs with his help. They're playing with an injured, aging, declining Peyton Manning the Broncos are banking on their defense and pass rush. The Broncos had 52 sacks this season while the Cowboys only had 31 sacks. Ware's 7.5 sacks was second on Denver's defense and was only 3.5 sacks behind team leader Von Miller.

I don't covet other team's players. Are you too thick in the head to understand this? Your love for the Broncos is too strong for my taste. If you want to be a Bronco fan then you're free to do so. I'm a Cowboys fan. :flagwave:

You already made that clear and if you're looking to start a fight look elsewhere. If you want to hate on the teams former players go ahead but don't try and stir it up with me.

I just call it as I see it, buddy. If you find it intimidating then you can either step up or step off. Ball is in your court. Have a great day. :)

You're not seeing it straight and nothing you say intimidates me. Ball is in your court and you're way behind. :D

I'm with you. Like D Ware as person/player, but he is a Bronco now and they are not my team

You are true blue and orange, just admit it. Your love for the broncos runs way deeper than your like for the Cowboys. You can come out of the closet and feel free to be accepted for who you are... a broncos fan. You were born that way and I accept you.

Have another one on me...cheers!

I don't drink and don't smoke. In fact, I'm about to go out for a nice long jog since the seahawks forgot to show up for the first game today. I'll just go ahead and say once again. Have a great day. :)

No, I will not root for Ware. How many games did he take over and win for us? I can think of the New Orleans game after his neck injury. He jumped off sides too much and it costed us a game in San Diego. His sacks were mostly inconsequential. Far too often he was on the sidelines when he was supposed to be injured but was joking with his teammates with a big grin on his face. He was never a leader and contributed to our soft teams collapsing in December. Good riddance.

I guess every single one of the 100+ sacks he amassed with Dallas were a mirage and never affected a single game. I guess he will just have to ride those inconsequential sacks to the playoffs, which he has been in every season since leaving Dallas, and of course into the HOF.

But I'm sure you'd begrudge him those honors too because your aexpectation is for Ware never to get injured, sack QB on every pass rush and win each and every game single handedly. What planet are you from again?
