Are we taking the Skins to lightly?

I think everyone is overlooking one important fact. When we won last week, it didn't matter who we beat, the fact that we won was HUGE. We have a very talented group of young players, esp on Defense. If we had lost, their confidence would not be great going into MNF which makes them think to much and slows reaction time. Since we won, these young guys will be very confident and let their pure natural atheltic ability shine. So just the fact that we won is HUGE. No way the Commanders have the talent we have on either side of the ball, confidence will be the difference in this game. To many weapons for their defense to cover and to much talent on D for their offense to stop. I like our chances.

Good post! Another big thing is depth which the Commanders do not have very much of. Even if the game is close I think Dallas pulls away in the 2nd half because of depth. Having this many weapons this year also makes our opponents mistakes more costly to them. The stat I love last week is 4 for 4 in the red zone. I think our depth will be the deciding factor in this game.

You sound like the cats over at Extremeskins. They're using alot of XYZ logic. Along with believing their defense is as good as the Ravens was during their SB season. Redksins fans live in some dream world.

Look at it this way. Even their defense, which they think is great, and I will agree, is good, is not much better than ours. LB's is really the only spot I would rate them higher than us. Henry Newman Williams and Davis are better than Harris, Springs, Taylor, and Piroleaut. DL is almost the same, they dont have the depth.

Offensively, they dont scare me. Moss is a solid number 2. Patten is nothing special. Thrash is good on ST, that's about it. Taylor Jacobs cant find his way onto the field, and FLorida WR are notoriously bad at this level. Ill take our 4 WR and our All Pro TE over them.

Brunell showed to be over the hill last year, and didn't do much against Chicago...Ask the Skins, and Chicago's defense resembles that of the great Bears teams of the past.
Bledsoe showed he still has plenty left. I dont care what anyone wants to say about how SD is overrated, SD has a soft pass D, yada yada yada, facts are facts. 4/4 on red zone trips. Thats how you win. Washingotn outpossessed Chicago 35-25min. yet only had 9 points to show for it.

Washingtons defense is good and will keep this game pretty close, but they just seem to lack the offensive weapons to beat us at home. Parcells has us playing with a sense of urgency.
