They didn't seem interested in Dix when he was a free agent last time but i think he'd certainly help us at SS. Could we bring in Karl to compete with a rookie we draft?

I hope so. regardless we need to take a chance on atleast a mid round guy who has a good nose for the ball.

As usual, waiting until the crazy frenzy spending spree is over and the players asking price comes down.
Then we will see who is left to show interest.
It is not being cheap or not knowing what to do as many will say. As the players left, is there a big difference between what you get and want you pay for. Probably not that big of a difference.

I still see Ha Ha here. Joseph is an obvious fit, but I don't see it.

He wants a solid pay day and it doesn't look like teams want to overpay him. Give it a few days and he will sign similar to what he signed for last season at one year, 3.25 million.

yup he is a versatile player and I know we tend to value that trait. Not to mention he gets ints.Not sure I trust Trufant because of his health.

I see one mid tier and one lower tier safety being singed in case the draft does not go the way we want it. Then we take McKInney or Delphit. Delphit seems to be dropping to the 2nd, so the option of taking a better player at 17 and then trading up in 2nd to get Delphit would be a nice

Dix is more a FS and it appears they are sold on Woods, at least for now. But I'd still love to have him.

Joseph seems like an obvious choice to take over for Heath.

Adrian Phillips and Jayron Kearse should be getting heavy consideration to play SS. Both very underrated players in my opinion. Phillips due to injury last year and Kearse overshadowed by Smith and Harris in Minnesota.

Kearse was a dog at Clemson. He is the kind of signing you bring in cheap and he outplays the contract you sign him for. Kid can ball

Doesn't appear that we are, or at least currently.

I'd be in favor of Von Bell or giving Karl Joseph a prove it type deal.

I know this is about Safeties but on another position that might make our offense very good is Emmanuel Sanders replacing Cobb.
I like Cooper and Gallup on the outside than having Sanders in the slot.

Bell played SS last 3 years when DC Nolan was LBs coach for NO. He’s young (25) and played with Zeke at OSU. And NO just signed Malcolm Jenkins. He’d be my choice
