Are we transitioning back to royal blue?

On Instagram, the Seattle photos are doctored to make the socks, numbers and stars on the helmet appear to be a lighter shade of blue. I can't save the photos but I'll try to do a screen capture of some of them. Also I've seen multiple t-shirts at the pro shop website dawning the throwback royal blue. Could the Cowboys be transitioning from navy blue back to royal blue? I've gotten used to the navy because it's more masculine, making our guys look tougher. But I wouldn't mind an alternate royal blue uniform at all.

No thanks. Keep the royal blue on the whites and leave the navy blue jerseys as is, love the current blue jerseys.

As you can see the blue is purposely lightened in these pics. Compare them to the Dez photo below. Why would they enhance the color unless they're trying to market it to Cowboys fans? Everything the Cowboys marketing team does is with a purpose so it'll be interesting to see if they roll out the royal blue at some point.

I was going to say those looked like Detroit's uni's too. No one likes Detroit. And I'm not just talking sports fans, I mean no one in the world!

I think they applied some type of photo filter, look how washed out the seattle uniform looks.

I did a quick image search on google of the game against the Seahawks and the blue looks the same on several different sites. The link below is from a Seattle website and the blue looks similar to the Cowboys instagram account. I think it depends on the lighting. Even in that Dez pic in the post above you can see the blue on the sleeves of the other players looks lighter.

Maybe I'm color blind or flat out blind but that blue isn't nearly as dark as a navy blue should be.

I've always thought it was royal blue over the past couple of decades. It was navy blue in the 1970s. One constant complaint I've seen on this board is that all the blues on the white uniform package are different.

Yes it's royal blue but in those pics it's even lighter. I was referring to how dark the numbers look in that Dez pic. In that particular photo the numbers look navy blue which is kinda nice.
