Yea...Instagram, which is where the photos were posted. It's just a filter calm down everyone. :lmao:
I know this was done intentionally. The question is why. I say marketing. We'll see if they roll out the old blues as an alternate.

Isn't there a rule that teams have to announce at the beginning of the season what uniforms they plan on using?

The pictures are done intentionally; however, the colors are already royal blue. The Dez pic you mentioned only appears to be navy blue because of the lighting. If there were any more pictures of that particular game the 88 would appear lighter in color depending on the changes in the lighting. You can already see evidence of that on the other players in the back ground whose sleeves appear to be lighter in color. They aren't changing anything at this point. If and when they do we will all hear about it before it happens.

I'm guessing because its just the fad to do on instagram.

I agree. They use different filters and effects on instagram for effect.

That photo in your sig line shows how the blues on the jersey look different under different conditions. The numbers on the front look darker than the numbers on the shoulders and the stripes on the arms look even brighter.

I just want the same uni's that they wore in the 90's SB teams....that way, when they win the SB this year, you can tie it all together better

This is the blue I'd love to see in a throwback.

I like this much better than the lighter ones. I agree with others the lighter version looks like Detroit. No reason to look like a losing franchise.

I wasn't talking about this season, but maybe next. The players wore royal blue t-shirts on the sidelines during preseason games, something I hadn't seen it some time since the Joneses took over. Under the Jones family we went from royal blue to navy blue everything. I'm talking merchandise, not the uniform. It was a quiet transition to all dark blue, then all of a sudden you see royal blue stuff at the Cowboys pro shop website. They are marketing geniuses at Valley Ranch. We'll see next year if it means anything.

No it's just a filter. I'd love if they brought these back though..

Unfortunately I think they look too similar to the Colts uni's for the 'Boys to bring 'em back.

I think they applied some type of photo filter, look how washed out the seattle uniform looks.

This was my first thought too, as entire photos look strange, kind of like a painting / cartoon type effect.
