Are we trying to pull off some sort of Moneyball?

While i agree with the progress as a change against the norm - losing zach, dlaw, Lewis and dowdle then really only adding one comparable level production validated talent in fowler is a big step back for this team.

They need 2 to 3 more starters out of what is left in fa and the same out of the draft...
There are many others involved who aren't being considered, largely due unbridled pessimism. Let's give the tier 2 and 3 guys a chance to validate their signing before turning our backs on them. Be fair.

So let's just ignore their historical performance and hope for the best. Hope is not a strategy.

LOL.. Jerry is no Billy Bean. People around here think he has a genius plan on how to bring a championship to Dallas. When all it is, is ignorance, incompetence, insanity and idiocy.

If you still think he and his son have the intelligence to form a championship team along with the proper coaching, you need to seek professional help ASAP.
Nobody is attempting to seriously say this FO is capable when the opposite is a known fact. In the light of day, however, small improvements are far better than none at all. Let's just acknowledge the minor improvements and hope for additional follow-throughs that may yet be forthcoming. Giving up is just counter-productive to finding solutions. Time is still on our side. It's not over by a longshot.

Our team has not improved from last season up to this point.

This point isn't the end of the season. There's lots of time left before the coming season even starts. Don't give up -- that's strictly for quitters. That's hardly anything to aspire to. Fans are optimistic creatures by nature. Let's be fans. Try it -- you'll like it. ;)

I have zero hope. No reason to be disappointed and I love rooting for the underdog. Just reality.
Nothing wrong with that if that’s what you choose. Also nothing wrong with those who choose hope. I’m mostly interested the entertainment of watching folks twist themselves in knots trying to convince others of their opinions. Cowboys fans are the best.

Now can we please get back to war analogies and calling people brats and killing for survival? It’s starting to get boring in here.
