Are we trying to pull off some sort of Moneyball?

Thus far, we have acquired 7 players from outside sources and lost 5 from our former teams.

Therefore, this front office has finally seen fit to go outside of normal tendencies to replenish.

Whether or not it stops here remains to be seen, but progress outside of the norm is evident.

I'll admit to feeling reasonably optimistic that a change of operation is an encouraging signal.

The Cowboys are protecting the chance for comp picks, again. A blind man can see it. Since there are no free agents available that will move the Cowboys into position to compete with the Eagles or Commanders in 2025 it’s not a bad strategy.

Niners are rebuilding and covet what looks like at least three additional fourths in 2026. Fuzzywinklestein can see it, too. No sense triggering his nonsense.
:lmao:

DING DING DING

The first metric looked at is FA in vs FA out. Thank you.

yes I know you need to get back at me for I have wounded on oyu. If you don't have anything else I am just going ot move on.
Wounding on others...You're proud of that?

You're profit seeking and don't care about others?

Glad I never fell for your war propaganda. You're left making fun of those that didn't fall for your scheme.

Cool, God you are.

Guess I won. My prize is watching your lies...sweet. create things to make them unhappy foe your own gain...because you're Alpha.

Lame existence for both of us. And not intelligent

Don't fall for the banana in the tailpipe.

Don't get overcome with disdain or anything. It's not like I've been throwing bouquets or something.

Taking a few steps forward is just that and nothing else. There's lots of time left to renew bickering.

In the here and now, I see nothing wrong with recognizing good deeds for precisely what they are.

What I'm trying to say in fewer words is: fair is fair and there's a time to give credit for good things.

I asked them to look at the rules and make a case. It took you how long and do you imagine for a second that they didn't look for the off chance they could prove me wrong.

they never made a case. they seem to have a vested interest in spreading disinformation.

Somebody needs an intervention.

Guess this is what being a "fan of Jerry" gets ya.

So far we are not keeping pace with what we have lost.

Interesting... but what metric explains the moneyball style in football?

drafted in the first round?
from the colleges near Dallas?

And the salary cap kind of takes away the need for a moneyball approach....
Not saying it's moneyball or even a financially related. Just more of a thought surrounding the players they're adding... But it seems to have changed in recent days.

It's probably nothing, just a coincidence.

While i agree with the progress as a change against the norm - losing zach, dlaw, Lewis and dowdle then really only adding one comparable level production validated talent in fowler is a big step back for this team.

They need 2 to 3 more starters out of what is left in fa and the same out of the draft...

LOL.. Jerry is no Billy Bean. People around here think he has a genius plan on how to bring a championship to Dallas. When all it is, is ignorance, incompetence, insanity and idiocy.

If you still think he and his son have the intelligence to form a championship team along with the proper coaching, you need to seek professional help ASAP.
