When i leave for college this fall im gonna go and get a Cowboys Star tatted on my bicep that has Dallas Cowboys "Americas Team" around it....starspin:starspin

If you were a real fan you would do it now, don't let mom and dad intimidate out of showing your loyalty.

I know plenty of fans that can rattle off most of the players that have ever donned a jersey for their team but....

a) look at the floor when someone asks them who their favorite team is
b) have never been to a game
c) don't really own any of their team merchandise
etc.

A real Cowboy fan might not know all of the names, but roots for them during a 0-16 season just as much as during a 16-0 season.

One of the only reasons I know of Percy Howard is because last night there was a program on NFL Network about 'One-Shot Wonders' or some phrase like that which showed Percy Howard and even Clint Longley, which I didn't know had punched Staubach during training camp.

The fact that I didn't know this stuff doesn't depress my current excitement to see the Cowboys whoop up this year. Over 90% of the University of Texas fans probably cannot name any other player on their championship team other than Vince Young, but that doesn't mean they are any less of a dedicated fan to this year's team.

What I can't stand are the clowns that come into the bar to watch the game and cheer for anyone playing the Cowboys. That is the most indefensible position I've ever seen. They don't have a favorite team. Some of them can't even explain why they hate Dallas.

I feel ya. I get that alot from bandwagon Saints fans around here. The older Saints fans do not get into it with me, probably because they have endured a lot of disappointment over the years and know better.

Noonan was suspended in college for steriods. I remember a clip of Danny the year we drafted him. He jumped the snap and hit two of the offensive lineman who fell back like 3 yards. lol.

Also, a true fan doesn't say they aren't going to support the team just because a certain "player" comes on board. You support your team through thick and thin and through nice and evil players.
