i think we may see the first repeat NFCE champion in two decades...no way we catch philly and wash...will be lucky to be the 3rd best team if they stay healthy.

hope i am wrong but the outlook is not good for this year - that being said, i think they are setup great for 2026

Dallas is set up great for 2026? I’m not saying you’re wrong I’m just wondering why you think they are?
I was thinking you meant Philly with the 13 or 14 draft picks this offseason???

The lapdogs are shocked

Everyone that voted sell should go root for a different team, huh? lol

Dallas had to jettison some of their older players this past year and has been rebuilding the lines, if dak doesn't pan out this year they have milton in the wings and they will have the ability to resign pickens and shore up their offense. RB will be sorted out this year and, if not, it will be a preimium pick next year.

They just didnt have enough picks to fill everything since they don't like FA (although they did do bette this year than they have) hence why i see 2026 as a better year for them. They are also going to start with a ton of injuries to their secondary and overshown, so the first half of the year will probably be rough as they are dealing with that and the new coaching schemes...going into 2026 the schemes should be solidified and hopefully they start the year off right.

I hope i am wrong but just see far to many growing pains this year, but expect them to be a backhalf of the year team that nobody wants to face over the last month.

Acquiring Pickens was a beautiful thing but it’s not enough. The majority of aquisitions won't move the needle based on what those players have shown in the NFL......the rookies are an unknown.
WRs generally don’t make a difference unless you see a massive and I do mean a massive step up in QB play and scheme

Have not read through any post yet.
But unfortunately I voted SELL.

Here is why from my realistic point of view.

2024 off season they did nothing. They let players go, in which they should have, but di nothing to improve the team. Other than draft a few players. They lost more than replaced.
They were contenders to make the playoffs still, until injuries piled up. But no excuse. Other teams have injuries as well. SF for instance, they missed the playoffs also.

2025 off season. New coaches, and overall looking better. They let more players walk that they needed to. But also replaced them with FA's, but does not move the needle.
They had what looks like another solid draft, and even Jerry said moves being made for a few years down the road. Which tells me even the FO knows it is not enough to make than huge of an improvement.
The Pickens trade shows they are really trying to build something (but need to sign him long term if possible).

The potential is there to improve. However key pieces will still be missed. Diggs, Overshown, Butler, and wait and see on Revel.
Maybe by mid season they return. But where will the team be at that point.

All a wait and see on the field year for me. Right now the roster is no better than the 2023 season when they were 12-5. If 100% healthy. But they aren't at this point. But I see some potential.

Surprised by the polling results thus far.
Vegas has us as 50-1 underdogs to win the SB and -275 to miss the playoffs.

PFF has us 15th in the projected ranking for this season....a .500 record

Nfl.com has us ranked 20th out of the 32 teams

All these projections and odds are obviously based on offseason moves and QUALITY of moves.

75% of this board reflect the overwhelming opinion of unbiased entities such as the ones I listed

Are you surprised that the 25% is as high as it is?.....because i am.

better does not equal good. and you are guessing. or should I say deep inside you are hopeful because you are a cowboys fan
Yeah, but people mistake me for being 100 percent homer 100 percent of the time.

Not the case, but I do like what they've been doing the last few years aside from last year, which I just kind of watched from afar.
