Are you enjoying this?

Watching 4 hour long games with endless commercials, horrible refereeing, no common sense rules isn't my idea of a good time. I miss the days of guys like Ronnie Lott roaming the secondary looking to punish a receiver.

Considering that we have a winning record, just how bad are all those other teams and what game are they playing? I watch a lot of other teams, but I'm emotionally invested in the Cowboys and always enjoy watching them more. I enjoy watching good football, but it means more and I have more enjoyment having a connection to a team. If it were Cowboys vs.Cardinal and the Rams vs. Chiefs, playing at the same time, I'm watching the Cowboys play 100 times out of 100.

Of course I enjoy watching the Cowboys play and watch several other games across the NFL. I think fans tend to look at their own teams through a microscope more than they do other teams so we tend to nit pick our own more than we do others.

Garrett destroys enjoyment and our possibilities of a post season run .

Is anyone enjoying watching Dallas play?

This just occurred to me in another thread. As usual I haven't missed a dallas game this year, but I'm enjoying watching other teams play much more.

So I'm just curious. How many of you watch other teams play? How many of you are, like me, enjoying those other games more?

Of course the final win or loss means much more to me for Dallas, but the actual act of watching the game, so many other teams are actually enjoyable to watch, even if we are a playoff team.

We just look like idiots with the way we can't move the ball and can't score and have this scheme that looks putrid when you actually watch other teams play.

Sometimes I watch how other offenses work and I'm not convinced Dallas is even playing the same sport right now. We look like the NFL version of when a Latin American country sends people to the winter olympics. We're there, it's technically the same game, but we have no idea how to play it like the top teams do.
Yet we have a decent shot at the playoffs. I enjoy watching the Cowboys games. Always have, always will.

I've enjoyed watching 8 of the 14 games this year and only 7 teams in the NFL have a better ratio than that in 2018.

I have enjoyed watching Dallas play every game for 42 years. They are my one and only favorite NFL team. Of course watching Dallas football does not prevent me from being thoroughly frustrated also.

I watch other games that peak my interest. For me, it never feels like I have missed anything watching certain games not involving the Cowboys.

Only 7 teams have more wins then us so, I'm assuming we are more fun to watch then 75% of the league. Our fans are just more whiny and *****y then any other team. That's the big difference.

The Cowboys are a tough watch.

When we have the ball, I feel like it's one of those medicine balls we're trying to lug down the field.

Yeah, sounds like a lot of people sympathize.

As much as I've enjoyed watching the defense play, knowing the offense is gonna waste the effort the defense made on 3rd down really makes that sting, too.

For those who don't get where I'm coming from, consider the second Philly game.

Sure, we won, and that was great as usual. But did anyone actually enjoy that game? I didn't think it was a good game. I thought it was 3 quarters of our typical offensive ineptitude, and our defense thankfully pulled Philly into the mud with us. Both offenses looked like junk until some lucky pot shots made the final stat sheets look ok and Dallas won.

It wasn't until the 4th that the game developed half the intrigue of the average nfl game. That was when both teams realized this is 2018 NFL they're playing.

Am I enjoying the season? Sure, love the Cowboys. Am I enjoying the up and down? I'm used to it. It's been that way since 2006 with a botched FG snap. I don't think any other team has provided such highs and lows over the past 12 years. About 20 teams in the NFL have produced bad football over that period. Easy to name the 10-12 who haven't and especially easy to name the 5-6 teams who have been produced consistently good football. Relax man, you're in the majority

For sure. I still always watch Dallas. I haven't missed a game since high school, early college not sure. Can't remember the last time I missed one.

But if Dallas is playing at noon, I'm probably going to think the 330 and night game was a better game/match up in terms of entertainment, not fandom.
