Not sure that Jerry Jones actually said that but yes the team has an obligation to his fans. And I have an obligation to be entertained I why Watch. For the first time I have a second team I’ll also be watching the Chargers love Herbert and I still think Moore is a good coordinatorI’m feeling even more bored than I ever have been with the team, and I missed large portions of games this season and some entire games. I don’t remember feeling this disinterested in the club except prior to being a fan (when I was a small child).
The club’s owner just publicly stated that winning championships is not his or the team’s main priority-which kinda takes all guessing out of the equation. They ordered these results, and anyone still following knows they did.
Without any major shakeup this coming season, I doubt I catch many of the games at all. I would hazard a guess that the squad makes it to the 2024 wild card game and depending on the matchup and health of the other team maybe advances to the divisional round where the other team is much better and typically more healthy (then they lose). 12-5 seasons with no advancing to the final four to me is not progression-the arrow is pointing sideways (and aging core players will eventually lead to a downward trajectory).
Very. There's little reason for hope except that maybe one year we will get lucky.I’m feeling even more bored than I ever have been with the team, and I missed large portions of games this season and some entire games. I agree!! The Cowboys are like a sitcom!! Their plots are always the same. Something bad or unexpected happens which then elicits the "laugh track"!! LOLBored? Not at all. Look at the comedy of errors that occurred at the end of the SF game. Wasting time before punting, running out of bounds going backwards keeping clock running, failing to get 2 feet in bounds while being wide open, getting lucky to avoid a safety because you didn’t throw the ball away, and then the final play was a masterpiece to end the season yet again. I can understand fans getting frustrated but that is entertainment right there.
This. Youngest team in the playoffs and 3rd youngest in the league at 25.58. This is also high with guys like Peters and HiltonThe Cowboys have a very young team. The dreaded over 30 club members are: Hilton, Peters, Martin, Tyron, Godwin and Anger. Hankins, Barr and DLaw are 30. With their good drafting, the Cowboys are in good shape with an aging roster.
I think a lot of things could’ve went our way / gone the other way.Board? With #11 on the field? No way Jose. And we had the lead for a lot of the game or tied against SF. Our QB just couldn’t get it done. I think a lot of the air went out when Pollard went down. I also like the fact that they saw the problem and it was the offense and got rid of coaches and are trying to fix it. How can that be boring?
Situational play calling is what Moore was not very good at for sure. That play. 2nd and 2 in SF…..I think a lot of things could’ve went our way / gone the other way.
But the one thing that sticks out, is in a Kellen Moore runs the ball on 3rd down in Jacksonville, Dallas has the one seed. People can complain, but being a few snaps away from the 1 seed, I am not sure why people are so down.
Jerry Jones = Al DavisI’m feeling even more bored than I ever have been with the team, and I missed large portions of games this season and some entire games. I don’t remember feeling this disinterested in the club except prior to being a fan (when I was a small child).

This is why I think Schottenheimer is what they need. He will run the ball and protect Dak. You won’t see any odd defense fronts where we are outnumberedSituational play calling is what Moore was not very good at for sure. That play. 2nd and 2 in SF…..
Agree….the botched snap in Seattle, the catch/no catch against Green Bay, and last but not least the boneheaded 14 seconds QB keeper that runs out the clock against the niners 2 seasons agoI agree!! Standard as usual per Jerry. Just like this off season.Agree….the botched snap in Seattle, the catch/no catch against Green Bay, and last but not least the boneheaded 14 seconds QB keeper that runs out the clock against the niners 2 seasons ago
the last Niners loss was pretty drama free except for bonehead throwing 2 picks…..pretty standard actually
While I am still hopeful that this team may be on the verge of a break through, I have found myself becoming more apathetic the last few seasons.I’m feeling even more bored than I ever have been with the team, and I missed large portions of games this season and some entire games. I do agree but for every one of us another Cowboy fan is born.Jones can go pound sand. I'm too old for more of his balogna. I'll likely never watch another Cowboys game and I've been with them since the days of Landry.
