We live in an age where there is massive amounts of entertainment at our fingertips. I don't even watch blowout games anymore, even if it's our team creating the blowout. I turn on a game and play it and check back to see if a miracle comeback is happening.

NFL will never be all-consuming like it used to be. No sport will.

This team is SNAKE BIT. Dak has thrown the least INTs all his career except the one season DAL had the best chance on going to the NFC Championship game. Come on!

I’m feeling even more bored than I ever have been with the team, and I missed large portions of games this season and some entire games. I don’t remember feeling this disinterested in the club except prior to being a fan (when I was a small child).

The club’s owner just publicly stated that winning championships is not his or the team’s main priority-which kinda takes all guessing out of the equation. They ordered these results, and anyone still following knows they did.

Without any major shakeup this coming season, I doubt I catch many of the games at all. I would hazard a guess that the squad makes it to the 2024 wild card game and depending on the matchup and health of the other team maybe advances to the divisional round where the other team is much better and typically more healthy (then they lose). 12-5 seasons with no advancing to the final four to me is not progression-the arrow is pointing sideways (and aging core players will eventually lead to a downward trajectory).
I miss Cowboys football.
I watch every regular and playoff game of theirs I can.
I just accept the reality of the situation.
Very low expectations of a deep playoff run.

This was obvious if you had been paying attention to the off season since around 2014. Not a dig against you. I only started paying attention in 2016 and I'm 55. I just wanted to watch the team play, the off season was always boring to me.

Jerry's comment pretty much verifies what many have been suspecting. His comments about the Eagles were flat out wrong. The Eagles did not go all in. They're perfectly fine if they don't win the SB. The Eagles are just extremely well managed. Something Jerry can never dream of achieving. He just holds down the fort.

Only thing I am bored with is watching Zeke Elliott stumble into the middle of the Oline and fall down. Been watching that for 4 years now since he lost whatever he had.

If they bring back Zeke Im not sure I can remain interested.

Jones can go pound sand. I'm too old for more of his balogna. I'll likely never watch another Cowboys game and I've been with them since the days of Landry.
Good for you. Now leave this place and don’t come back. It’s for fans.

Yes, I am bored. I would appreciate it if some of you would get into personal attacks and cuss a lot so I will have something to do.

OK...well, I hope the Harlem Globetrotters slam dunk your sister and your grandmother wears combat boots! And I bet your picture looks like it would break a camera...plus, you are a terrible mod! BAM! Now get lost and let us have some fun around here.

The Cowboys have a very young team. The dreaded over 30 club members are: Hilton, Peters, Martin, Tyron, Godwin and Anger. Hankins, Barr and DLaw are 30. With their good drafting, the Cowboys are in good shape with an aging roster.
Yeah my general point was directed at core highly paid players hence “aging core.” Dak turns 30 this year, and several of the highest paid players are getting long in the tooth. The team seems committed to running it back until those players cannot run.

Since the owner/GM of the squad is content with the results of the season, he will not make any major enhancements. I thought he might get desperate to get another Super Bowl, but he seems to think he did something to help the Cowboys win the 90’s SBs besides knowing Jimmy and having enough cash.

Is referring to a fellow member as a rectum within forum etiquette?

certain cultures see it as a term of endearment

I think this sentiment is common place and IMO it's due to the all-or-nothing nature of our society now.

People need to learn to enjoy the ride again.

I'm not bored so much as I am apathetic.

I have a lot more fun watching other teams play nowadays -- especially college

I've gotten to the point where losses don't even make my upset anymore. I'll be disappointed, sure, but not like I used to get. I've also gotten to the point where going to games just isn't as fun as it used to be. I'm selling all my tickets next season for sure. Yawn.
