With the signing of colombo, im pretty satisfied in our free agent signings besides we need another LB... how bout you guys... you happy with our signings and do you think we need another player and who??

Im not happy at all, they need to bring in another pass rusher and the secondary needs help. Personally I think its ridicilous to think that Wade Phillips is going to magically fix all the issues this team had on defense last season.

a big backup NT
another linebacker
a FS
a backup center
another defensive end-backup
another corner

can do it all with the draft

agree on NT, B.U. Center/DE.

i would only take a linebacker/corner if they were game changers a la ray lewis-esque linebacker or Deion Sanders-esque CB

FS is fine, no need to change it, all the problems will be forgoten when we get a damn good pass rush

I think tony curtis is still on the roster, and I dont recall if they actually released pierce yet.

Pierce was indeed released, a week or so back... as for Curtis, he's headed to NFL Europa (LOL), which is pretty much the kiss of death for Cowboys players these days...

I think another TE should be brought in for depth purposes. There are only two on the roster now.

a backup center and NT wouldn't hurt. Stanley's still on the squad, so maybe he'll do well enough to give Fergie a break.

I would be happy happy with a NT and Center as well. Those are two pretty major concerns for me. I had forgotten about Montavius however and If I remember right he improved pretty dramatically over the course of last year. Then we need a gamebreaking young receiver.

I am very happy with the moves we have made so far in bringing in Davis and Johnson as well as re-signing our guys, particularly Gurode and Columbo. Our O-Line appears to be solidified and we have no glaring needs anywhere on the team which allows us to select the best available talent in the draft without targeting any positions.

The one area I am hoping we go after early is WR because Glenn & Owens are getting up there in age and WRs generally take time to develop. If we take one now then we won't be scrambling when one or both of them leave. That said, I wouldn't pass up a significantly better player at another position simply to take a WR in round-1. If one of the top WRs falls to us at #22 then take him, if not then draft for best value.
