Obviously was a great value, and will be a stalwart in nickel packages against the pass. If he could take on blocks better, and really support against the run, he could force some higher priced guys off the roster. Here's hoping that he can develop in that area.

I would like to get Cox more muscle.
His thin arms look more like a DB, than LB.
But added strength and muscle at the NFL level will come in due time.

I wonder if any relation to LB Brian Cox?

I am onboard Jerry’s yacht with this pick.

Loved this pick. Two things I loved about this pick.

1.) His skillset. I loved the fact that his positives is his coverage skills. Very solid.
2) I like how he was a leader for North Dakota....slid to LSU his last year and didn't miss a beat. A leader among men. Rooting for him.

Should be a big yes. Good player, good character, loves the game, great value at the spot. Only issue is if the shoulder injury is bad.

I'd like to vote yes again, please.

Cox was an awesome pick. Even if it doesn't work, you can't deny the value in the 4th round.

Maybe not as awesome as Ceedee falling to Dallas, but it's pretty awesome.

I wasn’t a big fan of Cox in the 2nd, but at that point in the draft, I was. He absolutely is a good coverage LB. he just needs work on other aspects of his game.

I liked the pick in the 4th.

That'll be a no from me. Don't like the pick. I like the LB that we picked up after the draft better. The guy from A&M.

Sorry but I like it when my dogs have some fight in them. Cox is praised for his coverage skills and what else? Leadership only matters if you're a starter.

Cox is a hard working LB who plays tough, instinctive football. He’s a true 3 down defender & a traditional 4-3 outside LB who needs to get a bit stronger to complete his game.

Quinn's going to love working w/him & Parsons. BOOM!

Cox played very well in a system that has serious competition
It’s not about no one knowing Wright
I see what the scouts seen once I looked
But cox was taken after where most thought he would go
And Wright was taken ahead of where most thought he would go
I think Cox went later than expected because scouts and coaches don't see him as an every down defender because he is a liability vs. the run. But he will be an asset in passing situations for sure.

I watched him a lot at LSU
I don’t see him as a real liability but it’s certainly not his strength
He can really cover but I don’t know if he is complete enough to push jaylon off the team next year, but I hope he grows as a player and can
