Loving this season, and to be honest anyone would have been thrilled to be 10-4 prior to the season with a guaranteed playoff spot before Xmas.

Go back through the board and look at the preseason predictions around here. Many didn't even see this team finishing above 500.

This team has three weeks to get right and a playoff game awaits them. Personally, I cant wait for playoff football to get here. Fans are way too up and down. A win this week and this board will be predicting the Cowboys to be in the super bowl....a loss and they'll want everyone fired. Dont ride the roller coaster.

With each passing year, my apathy rises. This season has been fun in that we're winning, but I'm not motivated to actually take the time (and money) to attend any games. I've been to one game this season, and I sold the rest of my tickets. I'm going to the eagles game, but I'm not that amped up about it - not like I used to get 4-5 years ago. As far as the playoffs go, I've seen this movie, and I know how it ends. Go Cowboes.

I’m not sure if I am.

we truck walked two teams the Vikings and the colts in a really fun show boaty way.

we looked pathetic against inept teams like the Texans and the packers.

blew leads to the Jaguars and the packers.

lost our quarterback for a few games and the backup managed the team to a sturdy record.

we get our hall of fame tackle back just in time for us to lose our starting corners.

we have two electric players on offense but at times our offense can’t just kill the clock.

we’ve known our first round opponent for weeks now and could barely care about these regular season games because of it.

12-5 tho whoda thunkit

No more or less than any other season for the past 10 or 15 years. I still don't miss Garrett - that was a miserable 10 year stretch.

Fun for sure, anytime you win this many games you’re gonna be happy more often than not. 15 weeks (including the bye) and 10 times I woke up the next day to a victory.

Can’t ask for much more in the regular season. Playoffs is another story.

i know you are probably thinking loss # 5 against Philly on Saturday...but we also plat Titans.....so maybe #6 too......12-5 or 11-6?.....we will make playoffs that is guarantee.....just who do we play?

Does it matter?....i think i am going to get all wild and crazy and go Mega ( million ) and Giga ( billion ) PLAT Guarantee we win....Cowboys super bowl 57....why?....did you think last year Cincy

was going to Almost win SB?....No Way....so why cant the super inconsistent Cowboys who know how to blow any lead....just go for it and play Lights out in Playoffs and no one saw it coming?

Go - Cowboys...we are preparing the PLATS Now
Joe Burrows aint walking through the door to help in the playoffs. But soon the Boys will need a #1 draft pick to find a legit franchise QB. The problem is the Cowboys are good at winning just enough games to pick around 15th in the draft. A 1 or 2 win season is hard to do.

I've become neutralized the last 27 years from a fanatic to an just an observer, I dont expect any type of a run anymore, so if they do it will be gravy for me.....I've seen all the SB wins just feel for the young ones who haven't...maybe they will turn it around....I dont know....until the FO changes we will get this same product every year.

My biggest issue with this team is the lack of improvement it's one step forward and 3 steps back. I'm not just talking about Dak, I've beaten that horse.
I'm talking about the defense, special teams, OL, seems like 1 week they're blocking their butts off the next week not so much
One week it's penalties everywhere the next week not so bad.
All of that starts with Mike. consistency always starts with the top guy and it's not happening.
I always have fun when the opening whistle blows, but then late in the game yesterday I had that sinking feeling it wasn't gonna end well so there's that.

The only real fun I had this year was watching this team come together when Rush was brought in to QB this team. I've lost all faith in Prescot. He was horrible against Tampa and when he returned from his injury he's been so up and down that I can't even watch a live game on the tube. I'm DVRing games and try to skip through Prescot's screwups. One more thing, I believe Prescot's play has started to rub off to the rest of this organization and now it appears to be severely flawed and won't be winning anymore games this year.

Whole season feels like a rerun. Worth rewatching but ultimately you know how it ends so it's spoiled.

Like most season for every team a season is packed with ups and downs. Never get to high during the ups and never get to low after the Downs. As bad as it feels today there are many teams wishing they were in our position
Yep, its all about expectation. Now that divisional winners gone we do have the advantage of:
-not having to show everything we've got on Saturday
-Hankins, LVE can rest up, which is going to improve the run defense in the play-offs
- we've now got categorical proof that Joseph can't play....so bench or more and CB2 is now up for grabs (if nothing else there won't be much tape on his replacements.
- rest time for anyone with lingering injuries (Micah)....

You can only expect so much from this team. I don't get upset like I used to. The Garrett years kind of killed that for me lol.

But it's been a wild season so far. From Cooper Rush to our defense. Who knows what happens next?

The Christmas Eve game is going to be fun though. Hopefully, we win.

When the defense was a buzz saw I was. The last month or so no.

we have sustained too many injuries at key spots...losing Hankins made us like...here is a big hole to run through.....

This is how I feel. After 27 years of disappointment, I don’t get emotionally invested in the regular season. Post season maybe.

mr Drip---i wish i could.....total wreck each game day regular season and abuse valium in playoffs

Having a fine time on Sunday's we’re in playoffs so there’s a chance albeit a small one

game thread is a riot some of y’all get too serious bout this stuff.

I literally enjoy week one through the playoffs because it comes around once a year. My days of getting so emotionally connected that I spend all week bashing it have been done for awhile

that don’t mean losses aren’t irritable or wins aren’t elating

I just let both go relatively quick anymore

I am. I’m stupidly hoping it clicks and we go on a hot run , where we play lights out. Hoping painful losses like this and crappy games against the Houston s somehow snaps us to attention and lights a fire. Naive…most likely. At some point we gotta get passed this 27 year ridiculousness. We have the talent. We just need to play to that talent We’ll see.
