Are You Still Afraid of a Shootout?

Cowboys vs Atlanta could be a game for the ages. I think Ryan will fade and choke before then but it could be a classic

thI'm afraid of a shootout.

I keep hearing that fear repeated. Detroit scored three times in their opening drives. We responded and put up 42 points.

And haven't we already shown an ability to respond in high-scoring games? The PIT and Thanksgiving games come to mind. Now that Dak is getting more accurate and confident in deeper passes, and receivers are stepping up, I'm feeling even better about our chances.

If we are facing Rodgers or Ryan in a 28-28 game late in the game -- absolutely.

But - I would feel the same if we had the ball last whoever we are playing would be in deep trouble.

In this day and age of offensive football - if you don't have the ball last - you should be afraid.
