In other words, do you STILL want him fired regardless of what happens the rest of the season OR did last night give reason to pause, as in he may not be that bad after all? So I'm not turning it in........yet (LOL)

I'm sure he's thinking or telling his guys THIS is what my D should look like.

In the first 6 weeks the defense looked, well there isn't a word strong enough to show how bad it was and then in one game they still weren't really good but just not as bad, isn't enough not to still turn that slip in. When Nolan gets trashed not just from the fan base here but announcers, analysts and sportswriters should tell everyone that after installing his complicated convoluted defense with no off season programs and no preseason games making the players fit his defense instead of using a defense that fit the players, he made his bed and will have to face the music. The defense didn't play as bad because the eagles offensive line was almost as bad as the Cowboys so if the Cowboys face lines like that then the Cowboys defense will look better but they won't get lines like that every week. By the time the Cowboys play the eagles on week 16 their line will probably close to the starters so it will be the same defense we saw the first 6 weeks.

A second round pick burned for a gamble. They could have taken Michael Thomas or any Safety that was available at that spot but instead they take this guy - lose an entire year of him rehabbing and now this.
Yes, folks should be careful hanging their hat
Don't break out the anointing oil yet. Our run defense got gutted again by an OL just as beat up as ours and Boston Scott. In the passing game, the main difference was that Carson Wentz turned it over 4 times.

Vander Esch is looking better, Diggs had a great game last night, but this is still a bad, bad unit on the whole. We just happened to play a bad, bad opponent. The Steelers are going to track-meet us next week and then it will be doom and gloom again.
At least they looked like they were actually trying last night so that was an improvement. I Agree 100%, however, you have to take the opponent into consideration. The Eagles are terrible on offense and Wentz is playing poorly as well. Their O-Line is in a shambles.
