The game is won and lost on the Line Of Scrimmage. It always has been. It always will be.
Vinve Lombardi said "the team that blocks and tackles better usually wins." The highest % of both happens at the LOS.
That's a trick question.Trip said:Here's a question for you: Is a QB an elite QB, if it takes elite lineman and elite playmakers around him to make him elite?
Eddie said:Troy had the same problem when he had no OL and throwing to undrafted rookie FA WR's.
It's not Bledsoe. It's the OL ... and the WR's not stepping up.

Trip said:There were open receivers off the snap of the ball There are good-not-great NFL QB's that would've picked that secondary apart yesterday.

big_neil said:Drew did not play elite yesterday, but that only underscores how amazing 43,000 yards really is.
Or Chuck Nevitt at 7'5" having a job in the NBA forever.Trip said:Neil - it's like in baseball - they say if you can throw lefthanded you'll have a job as long as you want it.
Drew has a cannon, accurate arm and he'll probably have a job with someone as long as he can walk at a decent pace.
That's makes it even more unbearable, watching how bad the rest of his game is and seeing him struggle to reach mediocrity and a 70's qb rating.
43,000 yards should be taken with a grain of salt, as 600 appearances by a lefthanded reliever should.
