Arkin = small - Smith = big

Sure does. Hard to believe he's only 20. My gosh, a few years of steaks and Woicik and there's no telling how big he'll be.

Arkin on the other hand... He needs a lot of work.
Yeah. Probably unwarranted but my expectations for his future have skyrocketed after just one game.

That was worth the price of admission. Harris is my slot.:)

I need to get my eyes checked?? hmmm well i specifically rewinded every play to see how smith did compared to arkin. arkin played better plain and simple. he didnt have multiple missed assignments, he didnt get stripped of his block, he didn't look slow and stiff. doesn't mean he'll be better come the start of the season, but if you to say tyron played better to make yourself feel content with the #9 pick and hide from reality so be it. im pleased with both of them, but one played better then the other

gahh you green grass fans. im a tyron smith fan but im gonna call it like i see it.
You'd see it better if you got your eyes checked. We're just trying to help.

and youre clueless if you dont think he has a long way to go, sir.

Any rookie has a long way to go.

But he played very good tonight. And every post game report you'll read will echo that statement.

im not saying he played bad holy ****. im just saying arkin played better which is a good suprise. im happy with this O-line overall, its shaping up to be much better then last year

Because he was facing the 3rd pick in teh draft Von Miller and he stonewalled him several times. I watched him every play. His footwork is outstanding. He has good hands, and he is relentless.

Coaches will rave about him. Guaranteed.

i agree with you. maybe im just overrating arkin's play because i was surprised that a rookie 4th rounder would play that solid.

Why is it so hard to appreciate the fact that we have TWO rooks in the OL?
