I don't want to make this a "I told you so thread" about anybody else

Rather...I would like to celebrate the "ARM TALENT" that Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow and Matt Stafford have. In particular Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes. If you are going to put it on your QBs back...that is the kind of arm talent that is required

You probably need IQ talent as well.

Those 40M QBs are worth every penny spent.

For my money we just watched the two best QBs in the NFL tonight.

Brady is beginning to fade and Rodgers just cannot get it done when it really matters. Burrows MIGHT be right there with them; but need to see more of him. Though gritting it through 9 sacks to win is a rather impressive feat.

All top 10 draft picks. Dallas hasn't used a first round pick on a QB since 1989.........and that guy worked out pretty good.

Arm talent is great but like other have said, accuracy and football intelligence is better to have. Kyle Boller is a perfect example. He could throw the ball 70 yards in the air on his knees but could not read defenses. Peyton Manning even said that he doesn't think that he ever threw the ball more than 40 yards but what is important is accuracy and reading defenses.

Pftt..

There's a QB in the NFL that makes 40M a year and he doesn't have a cannon, isn't accurate, and he can't read defenses...

All those things are overrated..

What you really need is a mouth piece and a good PR team in order to be a "good" QB nowadays

Sarcasm I detect, lol.

The true Elite get it done in the playoffs and the SB.

Gee, I thought Brady and Rodgers were elite.

Guess not, since their teams lost.

The "elite" quarterback that can win regardless of the talent around them and the coaching does not, has not, and will never exist...
