He stands on the field for 2 hours pre-game hosting his celebrity guests and business pals who have come to pay homage to their host. Why? What is the reason? Because some Cowboys fans are unhappy? NFL thinks about good of NFL. They don't care if we are really succeeding in football. We were 12-5 three years in a row. Lost in playoffs. So there is success just no championships. Cowboys bring attention to the league. That's valuable to all owners.

Haters like you often are good at looking childish and simple. I get that having more complex than "no Super Bowl no good" is beyond most haters but its not really that complicated. The NFL does not really care what other owners do as long as they continue to make money. The Cowboys make money and drive ratings so the other owners do not care. Dak's cap hit is $292 million dollars over the next 4 years. We keep hearing 4/240m but that really doesn't cover just how bad the situation is. Even if the team rolls some of that money back, it still hits. If you sign a free agent, they will want a multi year deal that overlaps this Dak monstrosity. Sure, they can free up money this year by moving to next year but that doesn't really fix the issue.

This isn't even getting to the 10's of millions they will have to charge for Tank and Martin after they are off the roster.

The Cowboys salary cap is the worst situation in the NFL. We are in denial about it. I kind of wonder if it has sunk in for Jerry and Stephen and they are just going to minimize their coach salary as they know they will be bad for a few years.
