CBS SportsLine.com wire reports

PHOENIX -- Former NFL running back Richie Anderson, now an assistant coach with the Arizona Cardinals, was arrested during a Phoenix police anti-prostitution operation.

Anderson, 35, was arrested at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday for soliciting prostitution at about 9:30 p.m., Sgt. Andy Hill said. The department's vice unit was conducting an undercover sting operation in south Phoenix when Anderson allegedly solicited an officer posing as a prostitute.

Ken Whisenhunt, the Cardinals new head coach, hired Anderson as wide receivers coach in January. He played 13 seasons in the NFL with the New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys. He was a 2000 Pro Bowl selection while with the Jets and holds the team record for receptions by a running back at 305.

He retired as a player after the 2005 season and spent 2006 as an assistant wide receivers and tight end coach with the Jets.

Cardinals officials said they planned to release a statement on Anderson's arrest.

Looks as if his season hangin' with dismal Q was a very bad influence for him. LOL. Anyone remember how the horrid Q always used Richie as his "go to" guy for the infamous 2 yd dinks and dunks? Geez...if only we had had a real QB that season...sigh.

I'm assuming goldenpalace.com is not a site to learn about family values. LOL. Too bad ole Richie has slipped off the high road and has joined the Q in making piss poor personal life decisions.
BTW, what was ole Richie's average yards per reception from the horrid Q? My guess is 1.8-2.3 yds per reception. LOL. Geez those 2 yd dinks and dunks were ugly, were they not?

While I am not a Q fan, I see no reason to drag him through this particular mud hole. Richie Anderson is a grown man. He did this on his own. I seriously doubt he is a Q puppet who is dragged down to depravity just because he knew him. How many other dozens of former teammates of Q are not on Police Blotter headlines? Perhaps the focus should remain where the fault actually lies. Just food for thought.

Okay then, here's a thought, prove to me that Q was in Phoenix at the time. I sure don't see his name on the arrest record. The article doesn't bring him up. He doesn't merit a mention at all.

Hey bro, how many Q fans do you reckon are left out there from that dark era of our past?

Q was there. He was miniature, had horn shaped ears and a pitchfork, and was seen hovering around Richie's head telling him to "Go for it!"

Well, Canal Street used to be a series of small shops, that had been converted into mini-brothels... the girls would sit in these shop windows in assorted lingerie, with a price tag around their ankles (I swear, I'm not making this up)... behind them, there was a curtain, a bed, and a washstand...
I know you're not making it up, was there this fall (missed the MNF NYG game where Romo took over, but got the play by play thanks to the chat room - thanks guys!)

It's not just Amsterdam. Every big city in the Netherlands has a red light district and hash bars (though they call them coffee shops, I didn't see coffee on the menu).

What surprised me is that the coffee shops were not packed with stoners, but working class people coming off a shift at a local factory, etc. Outside of Amsterdam, it's all very ho hum to the Dutch.

Oh yeah, and prostitution is legal in Germany these days too. They even have their own union. And when it is legal and regulated, you don't get the forced labor.

Anyway, back to the original topic, I agree with Winicki, that fumble against Carolina still kills me. I just can't get over it.

Q has puppets. No doubt about it. Usually you can spot them real easy. They feel the need to bring his name up every time they can. On both sides of the fence.

Personally I'd never be comfortable with someone else's hand up there. Know what I mean?

But hey, whatever blows their skirts up is their business. Don't ask, don't tell.

The fact that our tax dollars go to vice squads when there is violent crime on the streets everyday will never cease to baffle me.
