that's the thing, you don't pay him #1 CB money, just get a solid corner in there that won't strap your cash, and won't hinder your ability to spend money on depth

I'm all for that but the skins dont exactly pay out good contracts, except for many Ladell's. I'd be happy with him as long as we dont go crazy with his contract.

Worse? The Cowboys didn't trade draft picks for players that didn't perform or have a bad statistical year. You did read this part right?

C'mon, apart from the "set your watch by it December collapse" the Cowboys are a far bit away from these things being said about them.

Only player that played bad that we traded picks for was Lloyd. Duckett didnt have a big year but when he played for us, he got his. That "set your watch by it December collapse" part is a pretty big deal dont you think? Also your vaunted defense is letting teams convert a majority of 3rd downs. Romo (who i like) is starting to turn the ball over a lot etc.

Didn't you guys give a 3rd and 4th round pick for Duckett?

30-something carries in a season is hardly "getting his."

Yes we did. Im not saying he blew up or that he was worth the 3rd and 4th round pick because we hardly played him, but the very few times he got carries he did faily well and even scored a few Tds for us.

Would you say it was worth a 3rd and 4th round pick?

You're right sorry "pretty big deal", "a lot of third downs" and "turn the ball over a lot" is worse then the fewest in team history, the fewest in league history, allowed a league-high, second most in team history. What was I thinking, and you, of course, have articles to back all this up.

Don't be surprised if the Skins win the division next year given the up and down nature of the NFC East.

Campbell is the real deal and they do have talent on both sides of the football....Gibbs is the problem and needs go. He's washed up like Parcells.

Campbell is the part of the equation that changes everything for them next year. If he turns into a good player -- a franchise one, even -- then it immediately elevates the level of the entire team.

They've been battling Drew Bledsoe syndrome with Mark Brunell the last few years. It just completely handicaps everything a team can do.

Look at the playoff teams this year. How many of them have older, free-agent types at quarterback? Baltimore and maybe one or two others? It's just harder to win in this league with those types of guys.

Why would the Skins pay huge money for a "#1" corner? Isn't Springs still around? And Rogers is the next Darrell Green...

I don't know how true it is, but I've seen talk on the 'Skins site that Springs could be cut due to the comments he's been making.

Maybe one of the Commanders fans here can set me straight on that, 'cuz I could be going on old rumors.
