As a Cowboy fan what skin player do you fear most?

I think they are going to have to rely on Portis and Betts more than usual, I see Brunell having a tough time, and taking a few coverage sacks along with flat out heavy pressure sacks. And Ware has developed a nice ability to usually be in the QB's face, if he cant get the sack, forcing a bad pass, or a hesitation, thus making the reciever no longer open.

A veteran QB on both sidelines, this is why I think this game will be close.

Brunell can do as much as Bledsoe in the pocket. Outside of the pocket Brunell is probably a better threat.

If you think that the Commanders D, with the former HC of Bledsoe's former team running the D doesnt know how to rattle him or force mistakes isnt going to be aggresive, you will be in for a surprise.

Brunell is terrible, no way around it.

I think we all agree this should be pretty close. I think he will be the weak link, and make the key deciding play, and then penguin Jansen has a rough day.

Moss, because he is new to the team and the unknown. I think he can be a playmaker, if he had the surrounding talent. I actually at one point was hoping Dallas would have drated him. Not s sure about that now.

Parcells also knows what rattles Bledsoe...as he has had Bledsoe on his team and has also game planned against Bledsoe when he coached with the jets.

Problem will be who plays better.

We have a rookie in Rob Petittie at RT and you guys have Jansen with two bad thumbs.

I don't fear any of them. The only fear I ever have is that we will do something stupid and blow yet another 4th quater lead.

What has Arrington done the last four seasons? Anything? Why is he on this list?

I would say I fear Taylor the most, because if I ever ran into him just walking around the street, he might shoot at me. That and the fact he is dumber than a sack of wet mice. I fear dumb people.

I scared of "The Streak".

I mean, how long can it possibly last?

And all the stuff that's potentially distracting:
Big win last week
Triplets' ceremony
Monday Night

For some reason, I'm beginning to dread the game. Something doesn't feel right. We should win. We have more talent, better coaching, the momentum........

I guess that's what's worrying me.

Betts actually fits the conventional Gibbs style of offense better than Portis.

I hope you guys arent taking this game lightly.

The Commanders and Cowboys matchup closer than some of you may think.

That's just silly. What we think about the game has no effect on the players. If our team is taking the Skins lightly, then yeah we could get beat. But after all is said and done..even if we lose to you on Monday, we'll still be fighting for a playoff spot at the end of the season, while the Skins will be struggling to not be the worst team in the league.

I think you're right about us being in "it" at the end of the year.

Right now, I think we're going to be woefully inconsistent on defense. I think once the rooks earn their spurs, we'll be tough.

I also think there will be a lot of mistakes probably the first 3rd of the season , so I think these first 4 games are important to at least be 2-2. then I think we should hit our stride.

That is what worries me about these next few games . I think we will give up some big plays on defense, from laspes.
Offensively I think we may have a few holding and offside penalties .

Pettti although I was impressed with his play and I do think he is going to be a good one , he is a rookie and how quickly he can adjust to different linemen from week to week is critical.

from tomlinson to portis...

julius will be jonesin' to show his stuff on Monday nite. again. i have no doubts about him. but Dallas better show Bledsoe more protection than they exhibited last Sunday.

there's your game right there.

How could you leave off Chris "Ultimate Weapon" Cooley? ;)

I fear a couple of early deep flukey passes for TD, and that's about it.

You are right I should have gotten him in there.
TE's have given us trouble in the past.

Id say they need Portis the most. I know hes overrated, but w/o him, they wouldnt even have a hearbeat offensively.

I'd be worried if they throw some underneath stuff to Santana. for 2 reasons.

1) That disables our pass rush, and getting to Brunell nad rattling him.

2) Newman has been poor in tackling recently, if he gets matched up with Moss, and they throw that 1 step turn to the QB, and catch it, it can be a big play. Or a 1st down at least.

I wouldnt be worried about Henry if that were the match upthough, hed take care of it and then some. Hes a LB in a LB's body.....with a DB's hands and cover skills and speed.

It wasnt underneath stuff, but I knew it. HEs their onyl threat, why was Newman not on him.
