I too have been hoping that the new place will maximize volume and actually produce a home-field advantage.

About how much are the cheapest tickets? I am thinking about going to the new stadium, so I wanted to get an idea about ticket prices.

I wish all pro games were as loud as college games. Also wish the players showed as much heart and determination as the college players.

I agree.

I remember reading the book "My heroes have always been Cowboys" and Cornell Green talked about how the new "whine and cheese" crowd at Texas Stadium was nothing compared to the Cotton Bowl and how they lost their true fans and homefield advantage when they move to Irving.

Also, Irving is in the Suburbs, so it makes it even more inconvient for those in the inner city to get there, especially the ones that rely on Public Transportation.

Moving it out to Arlington just exacerbates the situation.

No way that crowd will be rowdy.

Maybe when their Tony Romo  .

Dude, have you been to a game lately? The vast majority of the ones I've been to have been LOUD.

Besides, if you think JerryWorld is gonna be raucous, think again...when you have $340/ticket "club seats" stretching from goaline to goaline for the first Three decks, methinks you will see lots of wine and cheese being served.

Me, I'll still be sportin' my blue and white; raisin' hell over in the corner endzone.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I'll be in 429 with my Cowbells riling up the crowd!

First of all it is dudette, though Klee would be nicer and more gentlemanly but I digress. There are still some good fans out there and I have no doubts a few of you will be making maximum noise but my point is you are the exception not the rule. Texas Stadium was a quiet stadium and the crowd noise was seldom a factor at Texas Stadium. I remember years ago John Madden even remarked how dead Texas Stadium usually is. With the largest fanbase in the league and with a new super stadium, we need to be different than the rest of the league (Simmons article nailed it) and make this a truly great place to watch football. You know I have always widely preferred the NFL to college football, but when I see the mayhem at college stadiums, I can't help but wish we had a little more of that in the league. I normally don't condone this, but every now and then it is cool-when is the last time fans cared enough to rush the field and tear down the goalposts?

Just about every post I read on this board (And I love this board) is talking about the lack of passion our Cowboys have shown. I just think the league has a whole has become passionateless. Heck, the league fines Welker for doing a snow angel!!!!
