Not sure I want a bye week as hot as team is. Would be great to rest some players but I think this team is playing really well right now.

Yes, I'd still like a bye, playing 2 games is better than playing 3 and I do believe the extra week would be an advantage for a variety of reasons

By avoiding the wild-card game, you avoid an opportunity to be eliminated from the playoffs.

Any road to the Super Bowl that requires only two games to get there is better than a road that requires three games to get there. Because every game is a game in which you could be dispatched by a foe.
