Cowboys FO is lacking

If the Cowboys made that trade people would be losing their minds. Trading a pick for an aging, injured, washed WR who is on the last year of a contract, making over $20m. People here only praise this because it's a move the Cowboys didn't make which automatically makes it genius and another reason to hate on the Cowboys while ignoring the actual facts of the situation.

It is a good move for Washington. They have money to spend. It would not have been a good move for us. Our problems start in the trenches.

The Cowboys have already announced they will be active in FA this year.

BD - when was the last time this FO announced something in advance that happened or was actually good?

So Dallas trades a 1st rd pick to the Raiders and then a few seasons later, get rid of him for a 5th

Then Dallas trades a 4th to SF for Trey Lance and never uses him

Then the Cowboys trade another 4th to Carolina for WR Mingo and rarely uses him

We learn now the Commanders give away a 5th to SF for Deebo Sanuel

And finally, drag their feet to overpay for players


Dallas doesn't use FA, the past 2 drafts have been poor @ best and continually look stupid with their trades

Well i do think the last 8 years the draft of ours were poor.

But nethertheless i dont see a difference between trading for rubbish or drafting it.

The influence of the real problem stays the same regardless of your decission: our draft departement is bad and our FO too. Change of philosophy doesnt change the fundamental problem.
