There's absolutely no way on God's green earth that Miles could have caught that crappy throw from Romo. Bailey barely caught it and he was facing towards Romo and further toward the sidelines. Bailey even had the advantage of seeing where the ball was going, meanwhile Miles had his back to Romo.

There is a consistent theme with all these "bad routes" that our receivers are running. And that is, no one wants to stand up and throw Romo under the bus where he belongs! :banghead: So the receivers gently take the blame...so pitiful.

Stupity is all over the place:rolleyes:

I just bumped into Romo and he asked If you could please pass the cool-aid; he's thirsty for excuses too and you seem to have a good one.

Fact is, Bailey baited Romo all game long into ill-judged throws; the one in question and the two at hte end, among others.

But hey, cool-aid for everybody!

Or we could just make stuff up.

I'm almost convinced Austin made the right decision and that was what he was trying to explain to Romo.

He ran up and cutting it inside (away from Champ) was open as opposed to turning back into him, so he cut back towards the QB. Romo failed to make that adjustment and threw it to the outside anyway.

Maybe it's a rhytmn thing, but to me it seemed like Austin made the right move cause Champ wouldn't have even been in place to make any play on the ball if he had simply thrown it to the inside, it would have been an easy catch.

I am with you. I also think Miles ran the right route and Romo missed it.

But i watched the play again and Champ was in great position. Miles never was really open. Champ could have made the int even if Romo threw the ball to Miles. Because Champ had the play in front of him he was able to adjust to the throw where Miles wasn't able because he was already moving into the other direction.

This is the last of this thread.

What would PIT, BAL, NYG do?

Run the dern ball and kick it if you don't make it.

Redball calls the out against a pro bowl CB with an iffy WR. Hmmmm.

Redball calls 2 slants against a pro bowl cb......

Redball calls 2 fade routes against Car from the 1

Redball calls 40 yard flag route up four on the 50 with the lead in the 4th

Or Garret's, for abandoning the run? But yes, since it was a pass play resulting in a throw that Romo should NOT have attempted, because the right route was covered (even though Austin read it wrong), then this was Romo's Fault also.

In fact, Garrett Austin and Romo are all to blame.

You're bagging on Garrett for abandoning the run in this game? Really? Other games, yes. This game, with one healthy back and Denver stacking the line of scrimmage?
