I believe his job is lost to Awuzie and I am perfectly fine with that. We are starting to see tighter windows and more aggressive play from our corner position with Jourdan Lewis and Awuzie manning both now. It's quite refreshing to see our rooks coming of age in the line of fire in year #1!!!

While we aren't there yet on Defense, the solid play of our DLine and the notable improvement at the corners have me feeling optimistic.:flagwave: (About our talent pool.. Don't get it twisted.. Our coaches still blow)

So, with that said, I bid farewell to OScan as a full time corner with us. He has performed far better than Mike Jenkins ever did and I'm good with that. :D

Awuzie took Brown's spot. Scandrick was starting over Lewis until Dallas pulled Scandrick because of his back injury.

I would expect Lewis to start this week with Scandrick out and Brown to come in when we go nickel. Brown was the player who lost playing time because of Awuzie so how he fares with Scandrick's playing time will be the key. Against Washington, I thought Brown held up well when he started getting snaps.

It's in our best interest that all three of them do well because Scandrick doesn't have much longer to play. If Lewis and Awusie can clinch the starting roles and Brown can be adequate in the nickel, then we don't have to address the CB spots again until Brown leaves in free agency, other than adding some late-round depth with potential.

I get all of that but Brown has regressed and currently holds suck status. I wouldn't count on him to hold my pennies.

In the Skins game, the CBs were Scandrick, Awuzie and Woods (slot).

Lewis was not the 3rd CB like he has been most of the season.

Lewis only replaced Scandrick in the Denver game.

Awuzie and Scandrick have nothing to do with each other. It was Lewis and Orlando and if healthy I just suspect Leeis to slide into the slot.

It is hard to defend him after watching him pull a Deion and jogging behind Crowder as he ran up field last week.
