I fear that our lush of a GM/owner/quai-coach will hire none other than Norv Turner to be the next head coach of this team.

I want Ken Whisenhunt but I'm not sure if he wants any part of this.

I don't see that happening, I think Gruden is the target.

I believe this should be posted at the top of the board.

Not because i agree. But it seems like this has been posted more often than the word moron in the last two years.

Not calling you out, but Chuckie does nothing for me. Yet Jerry could very well find him fascinating.

Correction, sir. jerry would find him profitable.

FTR - Chuckie does nothing for me either. We'd waste 2 seasons getting him back into the new generation NFL, IMO.

We have wasted four on garrett

Gruden probably watches more film than current coaches do, what makes you think he would have any trouble adapting?

Its not like the guys has been playing golf in hawaii for the past two years.

It's the players. He can watch all the film he wants. Let him get in practice and on the field with this current bunch of over-paid, you owe me, pre-madonnas. Good luck benching any athlete jerry has over-paid for. Someone would not let that happen.

The sig stuff is an Al Davis reference. Davis was always seen sporting silver or black Members Only jackets as he drove the Raiders into the ground.

I feel that's the only thing Jerry Jones is missing at this point.

I see Gruden as a self-serving opportunist who did everything for one reason and one reason alone - himself.

Keep in mind that this was one of very few coaches that were actually traded away. Think about that for a minute.

Any then look up all of the quotes from former players who felt wronged or betrayed and didn't trust Gruden.

He's not the guy I'd be looking to for turning things around, but more of an opportunist who signed up only for big bucks for his own bank account.

Having said that, I don't see him coming here to work for Jones anyway. He's got a great gig working 6 months out of the year on Monday Night Football.

Like Jimmy Johnson and Bill Cowher, he may realize how good he has it and stay put.

Gruden is the only name that really excites me, but not that much. The main reason is, he's been successful everywhere he has been, and he has worked under a similar situation at Oakland and prospered.

You raise a very valid point however, the talent level on this team has fallen so far, it's going to take awhile for anyone to right the ship.

Jack Del Rio or Kubiak. But both would need an unfettered hand at the draft table and running the team.

Del Rio is a task master and that is what this team of powder puffs needs. Some disagree and point to his past head coaching experience and lack of top flight success. But at some point we need to get away from coaches that don't hold people accountable.

Kubiak is a compromise for me.

Kubiak, you can't be serious, he is worse than garrett, look at all the talent he had in houston, and what he did with it.

It's just not Dallas, Fritsch. How would he react/handle a Brandon Marshall or Jay Cutler? He can't brow beat anymore. Didn't he and Keyshawn have an issue? Keyshawn and the team parted ways? IIRC.

On top of the Dallas players he also has gran-poohbah to contend with and I seriously think every candidate will have that on the top of their 'con' list. Who wants to be a puppet if they take the game of football
seriously and WANTS to coach them up? JMO, of course.

I like Whisenhunt as a retread HC prospect, too. But he did get a nice long run in AZ and averaged less than a winning record there, despite the Superbowl run.
