I heard on the radio that last year Kyle Orton had the seventh highest salary on the Cowboys. That's ridiculously overpaying a backup quarterback, but that aside, for that dollar figure, he should be expected to win. Period. If you are going to pay that much for a backup quarterback (and I don't think you should), then it's for situations like this.

If Orton and the Cowboys don't win tonight's game, then his signing has been a complete failure.

Orton was 30/46 for 358 yards, 2 TDs and 2 INTs (of which one was not really his fault IMO). If you say that he did not play well then I think you must also say that Romo has not played well this season.
