Not knocking Ware because he's one of the best, but check the stats of a lot of OLBers who played for Wade. The fact is almost every one that plays in this scheme get a lot of sacks because of the design of the defense.

The fact is he disappeared after the first quarter of the Baltimore game. I wondered if maybe his knee was bothering him or something because I watched him several times and he didn't seem to be playing with much explosion.

THANK YOU !!!

Stats are misleading.

Haley 10 times better than Ware.

Again.....if he's 10 times better why did he avg 5.6 sacks 91-93.

He was wreaking havoc all right.

Wreaking havoc beating off in the locker room and in meetings.

Literally.

getting blocked by 2-3 people tends to do that

that said, his knee may be bothering him some...but he never complains so we'll probably never know

Only a matter of time...

when a team fails as the Cowboys have done, everyone gets thrown under the bus.

Yep. I'm waiting for someone to start a thread saying Emmitt Smith sucks.

WOW! Just because the guy fails to record a sack doesn't make him a bad player.

I know he had at least one tackle for loss tonight. And unlike our coaching staff, the Eagles did a great job of SCHEMING to stop Ware. He was chipped on nearly every passing play. Great job by them.

Dear lord....:blind:

So I guess you think Romo is better than Aikman ?

Aikman's highest TD total was 23 ?

Romo is FAR SUPERIOR!!!:lmao2:

Ware is terrible.

Do you realize he's only 7-11 as a starter after the month of November?;)

Teams decided they had seen enough of Ware and they didn't want him to put up a hat trick on them like he did vs SEA, NYG.

Shocking.

You probably aren't going to get too many sacks with 2 tackles lined up on your side plus a TE and RB chipping at times (Baltimore).

No way I'm throwing Ware under the bus. But the NFL is about match ups. How we don't have Ware, Spencer and Ellis out at the same time is beyond me. I guess it's for continuity.

When it's all said and done we'll see.

And you'll be wrong.

If you go by stats.

Was Issac Bruce and Marvin Harrison better than Michael Irvin ?

Doesn't Jim Jeffcoat have more sacks than Haley ? But nobody thinks he was better.

Come on now.

No, I agree he definitely draws a lot of attention.

But I did watch him several times and the times I keyed on him was in passing situations. I noticed he took a rounded arc to the QB and didn't cut or explode like he did just a few games ago.

As far as I'm concerned, there are some untouchables on this team, one of them is Ware, and one is Witten. Those two, I put at the top.

I'm not arguing stats.

I'm arguing talent.

Haley is 10 times better than Ware.

You are on the record.

Ware's talent is in the same convo as Haley, LT, DT, Reggie, Bruce.

Stats, impact on the game.....how ever you want to measure it.

Somebody earlier in the thread tried to give credit to Wade's scheme.

If that's the case take credit away from LT (BP), DT (Schotty), Reggie (Ryan/Wade), Bruce (Wade).

LOL! This truly makes me laugh. The dude is, by far, the best Defensive Player in the game and because teams actually *GASP* gameplan to do their best to take him out of games and he was held sackless, for only the second time this season, it means he's not a consistent playmaker.

Good Lord.

I think you overvalue Haley's contribution to the team. A lot of the heat that Haley also brought was when the offense actually put up a huge lead on the other team, and they became one dimensional.

As far as I'm concerned, Ware's numbers are less because of Stewart, and because the offense didn't live up to its potential so that Ware could face a one-dimensional team.

In such a situation, I think he would have broke the sack record.
