No I would like to see the Cowboys find and develope Asante Samuels' on their own and not have to sign big money free agents that rarely pay off anyway. Draft wisely, like the Pats do. That's what I want and that would solve 99% of the Cowboys problems as far as personnel.

You do realize that 4 of their starting defensive players were acquired through free agency, right?

Only 3 of our defensive starters are from free agency.

Very funny, I think the Cowboys front office needs to go to the school of the Pats to learn how to manage a NFL team, this is not to completely bash my Cowboys but N.E. really does it the best, I hate to say.

I think with a little creativity on defense, the one we have will be pretty darn good. I still wouldn't mind just one more FA on defense and a 1st round LOLB, like say......Jarvis Moss.

Yeah the Ravens have D figured out, their O has to go.

I'm not totally against free agents, I don't mind one here or there, I think A. Glenn has been good but not Henry and he got a huge deal, Riveras too old and it shows and he got too much money also, what frustrates me is when we draft busts and then we have to scramble to get a FA afterward to fill the hole. I know every team has busts but we gotta get better still on the first day of the draft, too many 2nd round busts over the last several years, and too many 1st rounders who play but arent difference makers, Roy, yes Roy, cover somebody please, I know you can hit OK, and Spears come to mind. I guess Eliss too, I do like him but not for the 8th pick.

Ravens certainly draft well on defense. They will draft a guy to replace Ray Lewis soon and a gut to replace McAlister, Reed, etc.

Not saying those drafted players will be as good, but they will be good solid players.

On offense ? Not so much. They still havent drafted many consistent offensive players in seemingly ages.
