Ashton Jeanty 5'8"

FF? This is about what you basically claimed but can't back up. In the limited time he got last year he stoned a couple of guys. I wish there were a video for it.
yeah who did he stone? Come on, you claimed he did back it up.
Of course logic and physics are clearly not enough

can anyone give an assessment on Jeanty's pass blocking?
When I watched his film I saw a number of college DBs blast him hard in pass pro. I think he could get exposed hard in the NFL.

I was enamored by Jeanty pick to infuse this team with juice. When I watched his tape vs Oregon & Penn State, I came away feeling we’d be better off going trenches.

Yes, he had fantastic numbers against Oregon, but most of the game he was bottled up. He broke a couple insane runs, but there were many runs he was contained and didn’t look special. This makes me worried about his overall level of competition. He feels like a super luxury pick at 12 - we’re not in position to take luxury. It’s like buying an AMG when you don’t have a garage to park it.

Yes he is a special talent and can be very explosive, but I don’t think he is as dominant a runner as AP or Henry & he doesn’t seem as versatile like an LT or Faulk. Give me OL, DL, Tet, or trade back.

If we pick Jeanty, I’ll feel very excited to see what he can do and anticipate him being a HOFer, but I do have concerns about him - def more than Ezekiel Elliott (and I wanted us to take Ramsey/Henry but felt optimistic about Zeke also when we selected him)

I literally posted I couldn't find any video. Ask anyone who watched the game he got some time. Stoned the blizter giving away 60 pounds or more. Even showed a replay.

There is videos of him doing it at K-St also if your interested.

College aint the pros and I will believe he can take on people that much bigger when you show it to me. Man, use some common sense. The dude is ONLY 175 lbs ringing wet. You want to stand there and claim he can take on 250 lb blitzing lbs coming at full speed?

Lol, you guys are a bunch of nuts. He is the best back in the draft. He is strong as a bull and runs like a deer.
I would have liked to see him running with all the other backs. So many run sub-4.5 it is crazy and this has to have a lot of team thinking they don't need to draft a RB early. I don't know if Jeanty not running hurt him or not but a lot of RBs helped themselves by running today. You see a guy like Raheim Sanders at 6', 217 lbs run a 4.46 and you have to be thinking of waiting to draft a RB.

Running back class is loaded.

5'8 211 is good enough for me. My thing with Jeanty is turning down the competition at the Combine. Standing on the sidelines talking about how good you are doesn't sit well with me....go compete and show it.

agents for the top picks pretty much never want them work out at to the combine. Pro Days are always more favorable to the prospects
