That was the best defense he faced all year. So yes the results were pretty predictable. His OL was vastly overmatched, like most of us knew it would be.
Sounds like you think the Penn St. game will cause his draft stock to go down. That isn't the case. The scary thing about Jeanty is that most draft nicks believe he is a top 5 player in the 2025 draft. That makes me more afraid about the lack of talent in this draft.
On the other hand if you are a Jeanty fan he now has a chance to be available at our current draft position. I was afraid he would go for a buck fifty and 3 touchdowns. Then he would have become a top 7 pick.
I disagree. Now will it fall far? I doubt it. I think instead of early rd 1, he goes late rd 1, early rd 2.Sounds like you think the Penn St. game will cause his draft stock to go down. That isn't the case.
No and No (in bold ^^^).The lesson here is no RB can excel if the run blocking is not there. Jeanty got whatever yards he could but we hit in the backfield too many times to get going. This is why I opposed signing Henry or Barkley in the off season. Behind the Cowboys offensive line, they would look like JAGs too.
I prefer to see Dallas go after OL and DL early. They absolutely have to get stronger on both sides of the ball.
I think he has to have a good combine. The reality is Penn State was a professional defensive line and made Jeanty look ordinary. He is going to have run fast and do well in the agility drills. Jeanty is like 5’8 and I don’t think you can run him 20 times a game.Sounds like you think the Penn St. game will cause his draft stock to go down. That isn't the case.
He will need to run faster than 4.42 to be a top draft pick. Jeanty has a burst but Gibbs he is not.Jeanty is only 5'9" at best. He also runs a 4.42 40. Good speed but not blazing fast. He can dominate against lesser talented defenses, but we all saw him get stopped by a far bigger and more talented defense yesterday.
I don't disagree, but the last time we had 2 #1 WRs Jerry traded one for a 5th round pick.No and No (in bold ^^^).
Can go DL 2nd - 4th rounds. Can go OL in the 5th (Cowboys currently have four 5th round picks).
Cowboys need a very good WR2 to help CeeDee and this offense. We all saw what happened to our offense when CeeDee didn't play this past week.
He still had over 100 yards rushing, lol3.5 yards per carry. Did he just benefit from playing poor competition?
All I saw was a backup QB throwing the ball high all over the field. I guess he thought our WR's are 6'10".We all saw what happened to our offense when CeeDee didn't play this past week.
