The key word here if you read the Coach compliments - SMART player, disciplined, few mistakes. Always good for linemen. Some positions those admirable traits doesn’t result in same dividends. Doesn’t seem to repeat the same rookie lineman mistakes. The comments go back to his college career but seems like it was missed in his scouting reports.
Yes as a tackle and I said that in the draft I thought he reminded me a little of Tyler Smith maybe not as polished but he has that same body's type.. People trying to move him to guard are not looking at camp news and they're saying he looks terrible at guard he looks better at tackle so let's develop him as a tackle possible swing tackle this year..

First thing I noticed about him in the combine.....looks to be in good shape for a lineman. Long and strong. Interesting though I remember reading scouting reports on him being able to play guard and tackle.

Yes but can't reports and some preseason reports are saying that he didn't look good at guard but as soon as he switched to tackle he looked more natural so why not just develop the guy into a tackle?? I mean if he's decent and can be developed and if Tyler Smiths comfortable staying at guard why not?

I liked what i saw with him at RT....might be wise to keep him there and should he get even better, LT of the future if the Cowboys want to move Tyler to LG. But swing tackle and backup for Steele would be great for Richards.

for sure a swing tackle

I mean the dudes not gonna sit around until Steele gets hurt

he literally needs to be ready to be either tackle in a pinch as more then likely its 77 goes down first.

Cool.. possibly a good 5th round developmental player. Nothing wrong with getting guys like that. Probably near where Mazi should've really been drafted. :muttley:
